Will this be a problem at Disney Security checks?

My husband wants to bring this personal cooling device on trip in July. After dialysis, he gets very itchy when its hot or even warm and he feels this will help him. Would this be a problem with Disney security checks?

Has anyone ever use this product? Does it really work?

Not a problem. :)

Some people like those...I use a Misty Mate, one with a wide-mouth opening, and I fill it with ice water. I like that better because you can direct the hose to other parts of your body, or somebody else who needs it. I have been very popular in hot waiting areas with some people. :)

I have been reading this board for quite some time since my husband was diagnosed with end stage renal disease and found the information invaluable. The last time he went to WDW in 1997, he did not have this disability. We are both in our late 30s, so if you look at him he does not appear to have anything wrong with him, except for the fact that he is a bit thinner than most men for his height and he has no body hair except for his face and head.

Bottomline, it's just wonderful to know that Disney realizes that all disabilities are not readily visible. Thanks again Teri. And I'll tell him to pack a misty too! (I tend to like those better too..;) )

Don't worry, you will see a lot of those.
So, go have fun and stay cool.
