So I got my personal property taxes paid online. Then I went to pay my property tax. I got four cards through before it started fussing at me. I tried everything. So I ended up having to call the last three in. Took almost 5 minutes per card. Still need to buy seven more cards and use them to pay the remaining balance. Am I really this desperate for URs?

This is still previews but they’ve opened it up to all universal hotel guests and I think even some partner hotels

ETA: Someone just told me they were there and the waits times were way inflated. They said one said 85 minutes and they only waited 20. And it was like that with most of the rides. I’d hate to go though and it actually turn out that long of a wait. We probably just won’t go

We're going to Epic Universe on 5/27 (less than a week after it's officially open). I can't wait! I did spring for Express, which will hopefully help a lot (but geez, $1k for 4 of us is crazy!) We have 3 nights at UO and 6 nights at WDW, and I keep thinking about adding a second day there, but our UO days are sold out so we'd have to sacrifice a Disney day. Plus I don't think I want to pay for another day of Express, and I'm not sure if the kids would enjoy it very much if we have to wait in long lines all day. I really wish we could make it for the AP previews, but flight prices are insane.

I just booked a flight via Amex Travel w/ Delta and paid with points. I immediately got an email saying I used my Amex offer of $100 credit for spending $500 w/ Delta. I have never redeemed points on Amex Travel before, does anyone know if it is accurate that my points will be deducted and I will also be charged dollars but then I will be credited the value of the points to my balance? (I chatted and thats what I was told)

If thats how it normally works Im pretty happy that I am getting an unexpected $100 on a "free" flight!

5% in URs from Chase Ink Cash. For me with property tax, personal property tax, and car insurance, it's 55,000 URs for me. I don't add new cards much so 5% is about as good as I can do.

It's in the MR or AmEx Travel fine print that you get charged in dollars first and then credited the same. I recall it being quite quick, if not same day maybe it was next day. I've only used it on the FHR hotels before but I would have thought everything should work in about the same timeline.

Also, interesting quirk, if you get a refund you get the dollars back in a statement credit and not the MR. They do say now that you can call to have the MR refunded.

Thanks! So happy about this one. Flight was cheaper MR wise than transferring to Delta even w/ the 15% savings for having a gold card. Then the $100 to boot!

Anyone have success transferring Avios from BA to Aer Lingus? I've tried on my phone, laptop in Chrome, in Edge and when I click the link from the BA page to get to the "transfer page" it waits and then eventually gives me "upstream request timeout". I've been able to see that this issue has impacted some people for at least a year (reddit/flyertalk).

I guess I should just call (but even that seems hit or miss). Anyone have any luck recently?

I’ve got an AMEX offer for 25% off $100 at Walmart dot com … it’s been awhile … am I remembering right that this will only work on physical Disney GCs and not the eGCs? I’ve been checking daily and the $100 physical GCs have been out of stock.

Yes, the physical cards work. I tried to order e-gift cards, and my orders kept getting cancelled by Walmart. So I just ordered $50 physical cards. Received the email from Amex almost immediately that I redeemed my offer.

I am thinking of applying for the Sun County Credit Card. It's a terrible SUB but comes with 50% off Bag Fees and Seat Selection. And you have to pay for All Bags and Seats on Sun Country - but found we have been flying them more to Orlando and Miami for Cruises as the rates have been great and they have direct flights. Normally fly SW or Delta but always have a stop with SW and both of the prices in cash and points has really gone up.

At least I am at 2/24 with another one falling off in August.... Hate to waste a spot but think I will benefit in the long run. Anyone else get card just for benefits like this?

I was wondering what the highest SUB was... Wish it was more. Yeah those fees add up a lot. Was thinking I could use my BOA Premium Rewards Card for the fees (Comes with $300 for Airline Incidentals). Of course, not able to use on Sun Country. UGGGHH!
