WOW. But I guess not many know what that means that haven't lived in southern CA. My husband who is Mexican wouldn't have been offended though but he is super chill about everything, that is why we are so good together, he balances out my crazy.

Don't I know it. I also have a 27 year old daughter. She likes hanging with me now, but there was a large chunk of time where she 100% did not and even skipped going to Disney with us

My teen boys are in that stage now of not wanting to go. They are saving me $ because I’d probably be adding on still if they were in a different mode!
My wife is about a 6-7 on the Disney love scale, but I can get her to go on some adult trips with me. Honestly it’s glorious just the two of us!

Yes he is keeper. He was much more on board with Aulani since he actually gets some rest when we went there. Unlike the parks where its go, go, go the entire time.

I actually think my wife would tell us to book a 1 bedroom and make me sleep on the pull down so that she could have a restful night of sleep for the first time in 20 years

I am committed to this craziness. Flight booked and I am headed to WDW end of May solely with the purpose of seeing which resorts I like.

I honestly almost did this myself when I had a bee in my bonnet thinking I might be interested in Polynesian. That passed though and I never did get my resort only trip! Sort of too bad; I was excited to treat myself and go all out on dining on my own, sans children.

I sort of think those already began for us. At ten. It’s rough! My ten year old already acts like she’s too cool for Disney with her friends, but I have recent photos of her at Crystal Palace hugging Piglet that prove otherwise.

Wow, I've always walked over to Geyser Point. Was a server walking around and talking orders? At VGC, there's usually three or so servers out by the pool whose main job is to take care of those in the lounge chairs.

If you have the bank account then go with your heart. That being said I could never really do that personally haha. We really like Boardwalk and really liked RIV. Luckily RIV went down to $155/point direct back in 2020 so we bought.

Regarding BLT we have toured it before and hated it. It got a refurb since then so possibly its better now so we likely need to tour it again for a future stay idea but the theming was terrible, access to EPCOT was terrible, but the saving part to it is the walk to MK.
