Anyone renew their Sirius XM radio subscription lately?

I don’t know much about the different plans but this is what it says in my account:View attachment 961455

Thanks! That’s the plan we have & just renewed in February for $9 a month. :headache:
It less channels than all access. You don’t get sports channels, Stern and a few others.

We have this plan & yes, we do get sports channels. I’m sure not every one available, but we do get all the ones we need.

Yes you’re right, you do get everything other than artist stations and podcasts. Great price.

I am in Canada and I used chat function to cancel. I was able to renegotiate monthly rate almost half for four months. Worth trying

I was able to get the $10.99 rate for last year, has anyone been able to get the discount again? Thanks!
I got it in late February. Used the chat feature to say was interested in canceling my subscription, and was given this offer. Took it.

Now wondering if I should see about the two vehicles for the all in or the $5/month that I keep getting emails for.

We switched to the Platinum Forward bundle for 2 radios & 2 streaming accounts for $10/month. Did that about a month ago.

I just renewed my Entertainment and Music subscription for one year for 83 dollars minus a credit for 67 total for one year equals 16 dollars. I used the app and when I thought it over tonight I went back to the app and chatted with an agent and explained that I should have been offered a better deal than $6.99 per month, they credited me another $11 dollars for a future offer. So in essence I paid 5 dollars for one year. Not bad.

Currently was thinking about returning to Sirius but this is reminding of trying to end it about a year ago…their phone sales reps are questionable !
I also did not want to make Howard Stern richer but he deserves respect I guess for finding success!

Use the chat on the website. You should get a premium 1 year renewal for $5-7 per month. Pretty reasonable for use in your car, computer and TV for every station available vs amazon music and Apple Music which can be 11.99 to 12.99 per month.

I don't know how Sirius XM and Pandora survive? Because in my eyes Pandora is generally not worth it at all because all they do is repeat and double play the same songs on nearly every station you create. Like if you have a Connie Francis station they only play Who's Sorry Now Where The Boys Are and Everybody's Somebody's Fool and if you have an 80's music station Pandora has a giant obsession with Billy Joel and they repeat and double play Billy Joel songs all the time like Uptown Girl and Tell Her About It and I don't get why Pandora is constantly obsessed with Billy Joel. But I think the only time Pandora and Sirius XM would be worth it is during November and December so you can listen to Christmas music while Black Friday shopping to get in the holiday mood. But when Pandora and Sirius XM were merged Pandora ruined itself and the same thing happened with Sirius XM too

Sirius XM has a ton of music, sports, talk shows, etc. that you're not going to find anywhere else. I love Nascar Radio, play-by-play baseball, raunchy comedy and music from Mozart to Rob Zombie. All available with the push of a button. It's very worth it to me.

You use the free version of Pandora so what you can listen to is very limited song-wise. If you want more songs and features then you need to pay for a subscription.

Yeah, I listen to a lot of news, news talk, sports talk, baseball, golf on Sirius XM.

Free Pandora has a few commercials but I listen sometimes and they aren't very intrusive to me.

Everything depends on your own personal lifestyle and preferences, and SiriusXM has a lot of curated content and channels, especially with news so for some people, it is worth it. As for me, just listening to only 80s music and other generic types or music, free version of Pandora serves the purpose. You can also catch SiriusXM in very remote regions where you cannot get 4g or 5g internet and also the network can get congested during peak hours , which is needed for Pandora. SiriuxXM is also better for news, traffic, sports, and other talk shows, whereas Pandora is mostly music only and SiriusXM is immune to 4g or 5g congestion since it broadcast on satellite and requires no internet.
