What is new on the Wish that would make a nice Birthday event for someone 26?

Today is my daughter’s birthday. She’ll turn 26 the day we get off the Wish, not really a warm, fuzzy feeling day though. There’s only a small chance we can visit Disney the actual day of her birthday. This is our first Wish sailing for us and thinking I could save some thing that the other ships don’t have for the day before and celebrate on the 12th. Anyone got any ideas what is super and different from the classic and Dream class that I would want to do the night of the 12th? We could have her cake and button that day and try to experience something new that we hadn’t on the older ships?

What does the Wish have for adults that they don’t have on those older ships? Thank you in advance.

Are you cake and button types or an adult champagne calm lounge, spa pampering, or dinner at Enchanted or Palo type family?

Otherwise, I would suggest a nice meal at Disney Springs. Or perhaps a one-night stay at a better Disney resort.

I don’t know but that’s cool. Perhaps someone at the piano bar can be slipped a b’day package and a song choice. Perhaps the performer can announce the b’day (getting her attention), place the present on top of the piano (There’s something we’d Ike you to have) with a special song to follow. (So perhaps you bring a special gift with you OR purchase something on board and take what you need to wrap it - something WISH specific; charm or something she’s into).

You can have them bring the birthday celebratory dessert at dinner to you on that evening. Of if there are fireworks the night you are “celebrating’, perhaps pull out a present you have hidden somewhere and give it to her as soon as the fireworks end.

Fun, have a great time planning And celebrating.

I was on the Wish for a cruise that spanned my husband’s birthday, our anniversary, and my bday. On his bday I got him the fancy World of Old Fashioned drink tasting that I believe is only on the Wish (they also have a whisky and a gin version). On our anniversary we did the 2-person “float on water” experience at the spa which is also only the Wish. On my bday, had dinner at Palo steakhouse which had a very different vibe from the other ships and some unique dishes—combined with a pre-drink at the Rose to watch the sunset.

We didn’t personally experience it but the tangled salon or a rainforest room pass might be fun for your daughter too.

Just clarifying...this is for a year from now? It's a little confusing that today's her birthday, but you'll be getting off on her birthday - so today? Or is today her 25th (IMHO a bigger deal than 26) and you'll be on next year? Things can change between now and then if that's the case.

Yes, a year from now. Which is was why I thought of “How can I make this special?”
Good thing you asked because it actually is her 25th birthday that day. She had her 24th birthday yesterday. Just turned out that the only time that she had off from school was the week of her birthday so I had to find something that would work within that timeframe.
Might try the Remy desert as something special to do. In addition, I think maybe some fun drink? I’m not gonna get her $1000 one but I would get her one for like $90 or less.

She would enjoy that. What facilities on the Wish would have that?
The Rose bar has the $50 beauty and the beast cocktail with an elaborate presentation. That would be my recommendation for a birthday treat.

I think the previous poster was referring jokingly to the $5,000 drink at Hyperspace Lounge…

I heard there was an expensive one. I couldn’t remember what it was. It’s been so long since I’ve heard about it. I think the rose bar is what I’d like to do then I think she would appreciate the Beauty and the Beast drink. Thank you.

Hook's Barbery! Maybe not the only activity to do but it's something unique to the Wish (for now) and a cool experience since they customize the drink to your preferences. You can go as expensive as you want with what goes in it.
