This is the very reason I never make an ADR for arrival day.

You can cancel an ADR without penalty up to 2 hours beforehand, so that might help you, but, in general, I think it's a better idea to not have an ADR for arrival day.

If it's delayed enough to affect a dining reservation, you should know in enough time to cancel in the 2 hour window.
