Banking and Transferring

I have never been able to fully understand the rules. I promise I have tried. In order to have enough points for a trip in 2027 I have to bank some leftover 2026 points and transfer some points from a friend. Can I do both those things in the same year? If I had two friends transferring points could those happen in the same year or is it just once?
