Hey gang,

Jarrod and I survived yesterday...it was a tie 2 to 2!! I promised not to rip his head off and he promised to not make me want to rip his head off!!

I went and ran errands today and now I'm putting together a poster display for school for tomorrow. We have started our March of Dimes fund raising and so we are doing a "Coins for Cuties" contest at school. We have baby pictures from people at the school and people will "vote" for the cutest by putting money into the baby bottles we have set up. I tried to get my team to help with this but I'm not having much luck. I had to go out and by the poster display board (3part folding board) and now I'm printing the pictures to decorate it with and then I'll put it all together. I just hope we make more than $10 off of it since I've already put more than $10 into it with the board and printing all these pictures for people!! (I didn't want original pictures on the board since I didn't want to run the risk of them becoming destroyed!)

So we didn't move the hutch today. Oh well. Maybe some other day. Luis wound up getting work calls that he had to take (yes stupid execs working on Sundays) and then we wound up watching Band of Brothers (HBO mini series). Kind of depressing. We'll head back to church w/in the hour.

Sherry, we've had snow flurries too, but fortunately nothing has really stuck around. Looks like we will be getting weather in the 50s and even high 60s later this week! Looking forward to that

Nancy, don't encourage Alan... I always thought it was peaceful here on weekends when he wasn't around

Kimmie, is that a new dishwasher? If so I would turn into big old meanie and say take it back! If it never worked right, I would want it replaced new with one that worked. I am so not nice like that though. I hope your grout finished up quickly though. For me I will be washing the paint on the house as soon as it warms up some. That's a job I am nto looking forward to!

Tara, good luck with teh poster making. Sorry that you've had to put so much into it yourself though. But I know that is for a great cause

I probably should get ready for church again. Sitting around all day though, has made me really tired.

Quiet day here today.

Had a nice day. Went out to eat after church, then to Walmart, then came home and watched Walk The Line. It was really good.

Kimmie, I hear you about the grout, etc. I hated that part when we put down tile last year, but the end result is soo worth it.

Well, I'm gonna get to bed soon. The boys are on Spring Break this week, but I still have to get up early to babysit my nephew.

Poster is as done as I can get it for tonight. I have to take it in tomorrow and get it finished before lunch time! Then during my lunch time I will be sitting in the cafeteria trying to get people to donate money!! Oh which reminds me, I need to get the baby bottles out to put the money in!!

Morning all! Slightly boring day here I think. Need to do laundry and then bake a cake. I eventually have to go shopping but am halfwy holding out until my dad gets home. I also probaby should stop by his place today.

We enjoyed a visit from my parents this weekend. They also brought a copy of Chicken Little for the girls. We all enjoyed that one

Tell me about it!!! Jarrod will be 6 in less than a month and Ethan will be 2 in May Jarrod eats nothing, Ethan leaves nothing!! His favorite word now is "eeet"!! I can't imagine 4 boys like Sherry and Dena!! I go through 2 gallons of milk a week now and I'm floored by that. I can't imagine having 2 more boys around!!

OH and we had "the" talk yesterday! We were all in the car and we were discussing genetics...more specifically tongue rolling. I can't do it. Jarrod can't do it. So my mom said that because Jarrod's dad and I can't do it then he can't do it. So Jarrod asked if Ethan could do it and we said he didn't yet but he might be able to when he gets older. So then Jarrod asked "the" question. "Is my daddy Ethan's daddy?" oh great now I get to explain this, I was hoping to wait another 5 or 10 years before I had to explain that. So I did the Dr. Phil route...I gave him only the information he asked for. I explained that I wanted more kids and that his daddy and I weren't together so I went to a dr. who helped me get pregnant and we got Ethan. Other than a few inquiries as to what E's daddy looked like he was satisfied with my explanation!! Now his view of how people get babies is going to be totally screwed up!! He'll never want to go to the dr. for fear of getting pregnant!! just kidding!!

Tara, I am shocked with how big the kids are too! I forgot that Ethan was nearly 2 years old Somehow time really does fly!

Sherry, sorry that they don't really sleep in either. I know I usually enjoy just lazing around in the mornings when I can. Anything fun planned for any of the days they are off?

Moving slow today. I was feeling tired and hot, so I figured it was the spring weather. Was too lazy to go downstairs to check the thermostat. So I took my temp. I'm the one who is too hot... so we'll see how well the upstairs gets picked up today.

Evening all. I'm back home, and resting. Thought I'd be on the DIS for a while, but I'm sleepy.

Other surgery is TOMORROW! Apparently, the doctor didn't tell them Thursday and just said o schedule it!

Tara, I was never great at Biology, but the genetics stuff was so very interesting. When I was pregnant with the kids, I'd get ask what I was having. The answer was always "A blue eyed tenor", because Ed and I both sing tenor and we both have blue eyes.

When I wa a teen, my dad and sister took great pleasure in rolling their tongues at me. So I'm a hybrid and can't do it. Now Ed and the boys all do it to me. The last LI trip, the sisters whole family and my men ALL rolled their ongues at me.

Boys played outside pretty much all day. Thankfully the weather is semi-warm here. I hate that we have Spring Break so early. Its usually still too cold or rainy/snowy for them to go outside.

Elaine, no major plans. Just lots of video games, and outside for football and basketball as weather permits.
