Slow moving boards here as well.

Lily, Luis and I are curious what we would produce. We know we wouldn't get true brown eyes, but the skin and hair color would be up in the air (though darker is more likely).
As for the tongue to the nose thing... I swore I had a pic of that... oh well

Howdy Kimmar! You know I've never played concentration that I can recall :p

Bethie, I hope you have fun this weekend at the Bell festival! And no worries, I am not any closer to being unraveled than I've been before ;)

Woo hoo for the found mouse! What magnets did you have on your car that were taken, Nancy? that always makes me mad. It's also why my topper is glued to my anntena

Pam, are you calling Alan a yo yo? If so I think it would fit :p

Glad you are feeling better Sherry :) Keep taking it easy if you can!

Why not true brown?? Or do you mean by that, they would have a recessive gene because of your "donation"?
Christin can touch her tongue to her nose  Don't know where that girl came from. She also has no ear lobes, her knuckles on her hands aren't connected, her thumbs look like toes, her toes always pop, and her eyes are HUGE....you can not see the whites around the irises. She is just strange

My yellow ribbon magnet and my pink one too :(
My antenna topper is still there
I don't glue because people break off the antennas.
I had a plastic hard one that snapped on the antenna and one day we came out and the antenna was bent completely sideways. Some one tried but couldn't do it! Don't understand those people.

Glad you are feeling better, Sherry.

No luck on the camera. Costco didn't have it and Wal-Marts was $50 more. Guess I will break down and order it.

Hi, honeys, I'm back!

surgery went fine. Doctor gave me a choice at the last minute-sleep or wakey. I opted for local and awake for the procedure. Afterwards, he told Ed if it happens again, I'm headed for blood thinners for life.

The great thing is that recovery time was a lot quicker than yesterday and I was able to get out, get lunch AND go look at the fence outlet (with the wheelchair). We've got someone coming tomorrow to verify my measurements and give us a price to install. Looking like it'll be done by the end of April :cool1: ! The nurse that took me out to the car was talking to me about lousy neighbors and when I told her about the kids traipsing through, she suggested I sit in my lounger this week with a super soaker at the ready! LOL!

Tiara, One only goes in the shower, the other only goes in the tub-my tub-with tons of bubbles. I got smart and gave him the loofah gloves to scrub himself. Works like a charm!

I have a Karen touching her nose picture, too!

Pam, I like your ketchup, lol!

Lily, :wave2:

Nancy, the car detailing biz at my mall has about 50 of those magnets on his work cabinet. They come off during the washing, and somehow don't make it back on. Mine got ripped, but he remembered it was mine-seems there aren't that many autism ones out there. I need to order new ones-both SIL's want one.

Got some good news today. Friends who bought into DVC decided they can't wait until mid December to visit the mouse and they booked a May trip. They've got plenty of points to cover both, so it makes sense. Makes me happy. Makes Ed happy, too-this is the couple that met at our wedding!

I'll be back later, I'm going to be sitting here on the couch all night.

Suzanne

so on that note...made love to you all.
It's all the tongue talk isn't it?!

Snork! Your description of Christin had me :rotfl: Nancy! :p

How's Suzanne doing?

Well as long as you didn't take them anywhere Alan.... :rotfl:

Well the kitchen is coming along! FINALLY! Painting is done. Tile is done! Well, except for the tile in the utility room and back bathroom. Still working on a few projects in that part of the house. Elaine, I hear you on the dishwasher. I was tempted to demand a new one too. The tech guy that was here this morning changed my mind though. He said it's actually sometimes better to try *at least once* to repair the existing unit because if the problem is due to a bad component, it may be bad in the next one as well and that many times, by the time the model has been on the market a while, they determine that new and improved parts need to be constructed and that's what you'll end up with in a repair where with replacement you could end up with more bogus equipment. Hmmm. Well okay, I'll try it once and see what happens. :p He said the board (whatever that is) needs to be replaced. Sigh.

Listening to Collective Soul today. Ah. Nice stuff! :music:

Doing grout STINKS doesn't it Sherry!? It's sort've creative in a really exhausting, icky, goopy sort've way but oh my gosh it's hard work!! :crazy2:

Drs make you pregnant.... :rotfl:

Well since ya'll have had to schelp through my kitchen stories, I'll share a picture of the almost finished project. Whew! What a lot of work this was!! Still need to do baseboard and few other little "finishing touches" but at least it's livable now. :)

Oops, a Suzanne sneat! Glad to hear all went well today!

I guess being able to do that saves on kleenex.
LOL!! :p

Eeeeewwwww, :rotfl2:

John, don't even THINK of giving my boys that idea!

Suzanne

Oh I meant the closest we could get to brown is the hazely golden color. Neither of us has brown eyes, so no real brown eyes for us. Luis does have golden in his eyes and I have a few golden flecks, so we might get that type of a brownish color, just not the brown I think of. I think that makes sense... if not, pretend it does ;)

LOL, about Christin though! She must have found all the neat quirks within the gene pool ;)

I have one of those short, thick rubbery antennas on the top of my car, so if they broke that, they would be far too desperate for my tastes. Of course they could just screw off the whole thing if they really needed it! It took me forever to get my topper on the car the first time, and when they stole it, they slightly bent the antenna, but not anything that wasn't fixable.

Luis is home and supper is started, so I better fly

And Alan  ;)

Oh Lord John is beginning to sound like Alan!!!

Howdy gang,

Survived the dr. visits. The neurologist said that he doesn't see any symptoms of bi-polar in Jar and that he thinks that some of his issues might do better with the addition of an anti-depressant that works on anxiety. He also asked that I request those who write the school reports refrain from using the words "processing difficulties" he said it would be better if they explained more fully what we meant by "processing". He also said that he can do a comprehensive evaluation but that it wouldn't be useful at this time because Jarrod is progressing in school. So there would be no discrepency in his ability and achievement  So basically he reviewed all my reports, gave me a new rx and sent me on my way.

Ethan's trip to the urologist yielded one diagnosis....the boy needs to learn to aim!! :lmao: Nothing is in the wrong place he just needs to become a better shot!! Any of you boys want to come help me train him!! :lmao:

We had lunch at a restaurant in downtown Norfolk called The Freemason Abbey. It used to be a church but many years ago it was turned into a restaurant. It was really good!!

Now we are home and recovering!! Actually, I just really need a nap!

Ketchup:

Nancy...you cracked me up with the "wrinkly" one!! Sorry about the magnets. That stinks :(

Suzanne...glad the surgery wasn't so bad. I like the super soaker idea!! Set up the video camera and let us see how it goes.

Karen... :lmao: that's scary that TWO people have pictures of you with your tongue touching your nose!!

Elaine...we're waiting for the results of ya'lls genetics experiments :teeth:

Sherry...you feeling better?

Bethie...I'm going to pm you in a bit after I talk to Chris. I'll know in a little while what our shedule is for Sat. and sunday!

Liz...congrats on your hole!! :teeth:

Pam, Lily, Alan, kimmar, kimmie, paula and anyone else I missed

hugs,
tara

Okay, the percocet is frying my brain.

Nancy, does costco have it on their website? I've got nothing but great things to say about ordering from them. Each time, I got things super quick, even coming from your neck of the woods!

lainey, I have the same antenna. I can't reach it, so that's why nothing is on it. Plus I can get so much more in the vase, lol!

When I went to get bloodwork last week, the lab was right by Cracker Barrel. They carry the Valomilks that Neil was dying to try, so I went in and got a few packages. I also bought Kevin some Pop Rocks, because he's a boy, and science experiment candy is right up his alley. So, the kid is watching tv and singing a song about Pop Rocks! Neil really liked his Valomilks-"Unwrapped" strikes a hit again!

Suzanne

House is on, so this is a quick hi.

Looks like a bunch of us keep posting at the same time today (happened this morning too :teeth: )

Suzanne, great shot you have there, though I think yours is better than mine, doens't bring in such disgusting thoughts about why she wouldn't need a tissue :p
Glad the recovery went so well today! I am also happy to hear that the fencing is moving along ::yes::

John :rotfl:

Okay Kimmie was that me you quoted? Looks like the type of typo I would make :rotfl:
Sounds like you had a smart guy there... I probably wouldn't have thought of something like that. BUt that's what repairmen are good for at times ::yes::
And OMG, I *love* your dining table!!!!!! Where did you find it?
I think I am about to give up on my table and just refinish it myself. Is that painted black or stained black on the bottom? Right now my table is painted white with a lighter stain on the top... I could easily change that to black ::yes::

Tara, sorry about the doc appts. Though at least nothing really bad was said.
As for genetic experiments... maybe someday here, but don't hold your breath ;)

Suzanne, you can laugh at me, since they screw off, I had to actually unscrew mine to get the topper on better. My car is also a bit shorter than yours so a wee bit easier to get to :p

Okay, I've been at this a while since we are watching House... better quit.

Tummy is hurting again. :( Don't know what is wrong with me today. :rolleyes1

Kimmie, the kitchen looks great. Love the dining table and love the tile. Very nice. :)

Nancy, I'm :rotfl: at your description of Christin. Poor girl. :teeth:

Suzanne, like the super soaker idea. :teeth: Glad the dr. visit went well.

John, ewwwwww!!!

We added a 3rd cell phone to our plan and I took the new phone. :teeth: Gave the boys my old one. So, I was playing with that for awhile tonight. Took 3 different calls to CS to switch the new phone to my old phone #. :rolleyes1

Me again...and I am REALLY going to whine!!!!

Worked REALLY late tonight and got to spend a lot of time with my coworker. I think I am really gonna like the new job. So far I have been in orientation and haven't really had an opportunity to work in my department...but tonight there was so much to do after class, I stayed till sometime after 7. My coworker was very appreciative of me sticking around to help. It was nice to help and to be appreciated.

So get home and we decide to go grab dinner...come home and my car won't go!! This is NOT good! Something is terribly wrong with my car. It is going to need to be towed in the morning. Good thing...my neighbor (who I had NO IDEA) works at the clinic...same hours. I can get a ride with her in the morning. Greg has a very early appointment in Indy tomorrow...so I would have been REALLY early for work if it weren't for my neighbor.

Anyway, Ohio is not looking really good for the weekend with these car problems...and now I just want to go and cry....

headed to bed.........more later when I can think clearly.

Morning!

Oh, Liz, I am so sorry to hear about your car. Hope you can get it fixed and it isn't too terribly expensive to do.

BIL just called. He doesn't have to work today so no nephew to watch. Of course, today I am not as tired as yesterday, but I'm still gonna go back to bed!! :teeth:

Morning all... little drive to do anything today :p I am going to wait for it to warm up some to see if I can clean something off the siding today... maybe ;)

Liz, sorry about the car :( I hope it really is as simple as the battery being dead or the like. I remember when Luis was about to return to college after a long summer of being away ;) when he called and said "the car won't start, I can't come tomorrow". I asked him if it was the battery, he said his dad said no. Guess what it turned out to be

Sherry enjoy the new phone and sleeping in more again today ;) How are you feeling today?

Sherry, go back to bed, I'll take the morning shift!

Ed's home, so I didn't need to get up early, but here I am. Meds made me queasy, so I went to bed early. My nurse basically ordered me to bed and probably would have carried me there, lol.

I have a sickie home with me, Kev's got a nasty cold. He's going to enjoy the momma time, but Ed won't let him snuggle up to me. His opinion is that my immune system is probably out of whack from two surgeries.

Lainey, almost watched House last night. The one episode I saw at my mom's, I really liked. Hugh Laurie cracked me up at the GoldenGlobes. Backstage, when someone commented that Mr and Mrs. Little won, he asked if someone could call Stuart to let him know! :rotfl2:

Liz, I'm sorry about the car. Hope it's easily fixed and that you still can take your road trip this weekend. You've really been looking forward to that one.

Suzanne

Went back to bed and slept for about an hour and a half. :teeth:

Thanks for taking the morning shift, Suzanne. :teeth: Hope Kev feels better soon.

Elaine, I'm feeling better today, thanks. :)
