Fall 2026 itineraries

Not sure why so many thought it would be a Tuesday. I thought the majority of announcements has been a Thursday for new cruises

It's just hope due to frustration but you've also been right along with everyone. None of your "inside info" has panned out so why not just continue with "today is the day" every day until it happens. As we've all said, eventually we'll be right!!!

Speaking of low demand, do we think they'll ever have Alaska sales now that there are 2 ships there next summer? That's the cruise I want next summer but cannot justify their list prices.
Alaska cruises often have restricted rates especially early and late in the season. I expect this will even more so be the case next year.

Don’t worry. Thursday is the day for sure. No questions asked. It’s happening then 😃

No it's not normal for DCL, but it's also not normal for them to have as many ships as they do now. Other cruise lines run these kind of sales and special offers all the time. It will most likely be the norm moving forward.

I get emails practically every other week for NCL's booking deals.

With their prices, and the new excessive amount of 3–5-night FL cruises, this has to be the new normal until they develop different options, lower prices, or travel picks back up to post-Covid rates.
I don't think will ever see travel again at post covid levels. Not unless we shut down travel for two years and hand out money again.

They're not usually actual deals though. If you track the price of a cruise you'll find that it's pretty much always the same regardless of the current offer. They just manipulate the base rate so it always adds up the same.

Because the ship is the destination. With all the theming and character meets such as Duffy and Friends, no one will want to leave at a port.
Which prooved false in australia. The itineraries just werent good enough. And im guessing within 12 months this idea will also proove false in Singapore.

I mean, not "no one"... we are flying to Singapore this winter and specifically went with the Ovation of the Seas instead of the Disney Adventure. A cruise to nowhere is still absurd no matter how much DCL fans try to justify it. This has been discussed to death, but yes, there are many folks that specifically are not choosing these cruises because these itineraries are worse than the "stale" Caribbean itins, they're completely unbookable for those that cruise to see something new.

So there's zero chance of new itins today? We're all pretty certain that the DCL site would already be in maintenance mode if they were launching new itins? No chance they've been quietly updating the site the last couple of weeks and just need to flip a switch without taking down the site?

If the wind blows in the wrong direction, the site goes down so highly unlikely they would “quietly“ update the site and have it launched without it going down at some point

Does anyone think the fact Disney have put out a new offer today could mean they could give that a few weeks first before putting out more cruises 🤔
I was wondering that because why would I book a very high price newly released itinerary when all of a sudden there are a bunch of discounted sailings available that are also available to previously booked cruises and are not specific to GTY. Especially when the new itineraries come out and they’re the same old stale ones. 😢

That might be true for the Adventure, but the Tokyo ship is going to be a Wish-class ship and it's hard to argue that that ship or the Wonder is a destination in itself. Maybe the first time?

We are lucky and can take advantage of the September sailings. We booked an 8 night on opening day for almost half of what the 7 days were going for in the summer.
