It was a perfect day here. DH and I managed a 2 mile stroll. Lovely. My doggie is getting better finally. Only thing is that she is starting to limp. Has issues every now and then with her hip. I'm glad she goes on Thurs to have stitches out. I guess I'll be discussing more with vet doc then.

I'm off work tomorrow to take the boys to the doc (uh oh!! ) One for the neurologist and the other for the urologist. Should be a fun day!

Long day here...but a good day! Thnaks for asking how it went. But I am pooped! I have a bunch of reading to do...signing and dating....so on that note...made love to you all. Hope you are enjoying the warmer weather!!!!!!!!!!!

In our cases, my dad was brown eyed, mom blue and I got the blue hazel and my sister the green hazel! My sister was bummed, she got two brown eyed kids-her husband's eyes are blue.

Tiara, they sing, just not sure if they're tenors yet.

Lily, thanks for the well wishes. Glad you're getting the doggie checked out.

Bethie, I think you'd do fine as store manager. My advice is that you use a management log and write everything down! That's my experience...

Sherry, we had break last week. It was a rude awakening for the boys when they had to go to school this morning!

Elaine, my grandparents both had blue eyes, too, and my mom and uncle came out with blue, but my aunt came out with green.

I'm almost ready to take my gang out for a day at the docs. So far this morning the ODD one is behaving, the "normal" one is throwing a fit because he wants to take a shower. One I can't get into the tub the other I can't get out of the tub!!

So ya'll behave today while I'm gone. No moving without leaving a forwarding address!! I'll be back tonight some time!!

Pammy Whatcha been up to lately? Apparently haven't been all that bad

Wow, Tara, good luck today with the docs! And yep, I ripped out the stitches and started all over again. I also have been working on a scarf I just finished and have a belt I need to quit until I decide how I want to finish it off. Then I will start the shrug. The afghan is my long term project though and I probably should buy bigger circular needles to help me out some (so it isn't all bunched)

Suzanne, isn't it funny how genetics work like that. I have the hazel eyed dad (very murky color) and a brown eyed mother... my brother has the same as my dad, my sister has brown and I have the green with flecks of gold. We always joked saying I was the "milkman's child" since I resembled other people more

Sherry, sorry you aren't feeling well. Actually the blue blue combo creating a green is because the 3 sets of genes that make up eye color aren't very stable. Blue can easily mutate to green or hazel. Hence the funky colors you get. Anyway, I hope you are feeling better soon
