Sherry, we used to do it more like that with the wet food. Cleo only got it on her birthday or other special day. Gwenie doesn't care for it so she just goes for treats now and then. I swear sometimes my two are polar opposites!

As for naps, yeah I need to try to find time for that. But you could try to help out too, couldn't ya? I admit, I am not all that great at napping during the day unless I am *really* wiped out!

I have a baby shower to go to in a couple of weeks... my mom's first cousin's son's wife (you figure out what she is to me) is due in May. Should be fun to go shopping at least

Morning all!

I think the only naps I've taken during the day have been if I am sick, or been up all night long. I mean literally. Even when I had 3 hours of sleep I have a hard time napping.
I can do it more easily on a weekend though. That's my down time to watch movies with Luis. I've fallen asleep with that, but I really don't sleep well.
I can rest though for a while before I have to get up

Sherry, I love shopping for baby things. I now just have to find the invite and call with my RSVP. I had to check with my choir director first on the time of a practice. If I can make it for at least some of the shower I will be in good shape. Kind of short notice for it though... so I probably will have to shop this weekend

Today is going to be a lazy day though. I have some TV shows I am behind on watching. The house is more or less done for the week. A friend will be coming by at some point to work on a song with me. He has no piano and cannot read music very well. So we'll teach him a solo

Day care wants the boys early. She's going to bring the kids over to her other house to go in the pool. So I'm hurrying this morning.

Paula, if you like peanut brittle, the awesome brittle bars are what got me hooked on their stuff. I did a custom box of chocolates for Ed and truffles for the boys for valentines and I'm going to order their easter basket stuff this week. I'm getting smart-I'm ordering my own, too.

Nancy, I have to be REALLY tired or sick for a daytime nap, too.

Lainey, you've got a pampered kitty, eh?

Tara, yesterday was doctor day for Neil, too. Changed two doseages-hope they help.

Elaine, I like the kitty stories. We had a finicky eater in our 17yo kitty. Never ate anything from the sea tasting...just like her "Momma." I could give her dry/wet, and give her feathers flavor and she was there.

The ablation is another 'thanks to the DIS' thing. I didn't know there was a way to fix my problem without yanking the thing out!

We were having a great family night last night with movies and games when a virus kicked in with my youngest.

She was up sick a lot last night and Mrs. AA did not get any sleep. Before y'all fuss too much, I was up a good bit too but Rebecca was sleeping next to her.

I'm going home early to let her nap while I help prepare for a visit from my parents tomorrow.

BTW Lainey, if I'm not mistaken she would be the wife of your second cousin.

Suzanne, of course I have a pampered kitty! Actually I have two But I couldn't imagine doing it any other way Smart of you to get the chocolates for yourself. YOu should make sure you also have some for while you recover! I've only heard of ablation thanks to the DIS as well. I'll honestly be interested to hear. Sounds like a great alternative to other things.

Lily, it's funny, my kitty didn't used to care for sea flavors. Really was a turkey lover. Now she isn't as much into chicken & turkey as she is salmon and tuna. Crazy chick

Have fun painting Nancy! I need to do that to our sheds behind the house. ONe has to be scrapped and then primed and painted the other needs to be painted!

Alan, I guess a guy living down there like you would know which people are which cousins. Kind of important when marrying Seriously thank you. And I do hope Abigail is feeling much better, and you and Rebecca get the rest you need!

LOL, Tara, I've done that with posting. Though ususally I have a blank window open so I can just refresh to see if I have missed anything Oh and ablation... not a DIS word as much as it is just something I wouldn't know about if it weren't for the DIS.

Found out today that Junior will probably be on days starting Monday. That is good and bad news. Good news cuz he'll be home in the afternoon/evening, bad because we only have 1 car right now and oldest DS has to be driven to school. Looks like we'll be fixing that work car very soon.

Woofreakinhoo, to quote JR Karen. I woke up this morning to "boom! boom! boom!" It was my neighbor behind me, staking out the fence he's putting up. Went out and chatted for a few, and he told me where he got the fencing. I'd talked to his wife a couple of times, first time I've really spoken to him-very nice gent.

Now we only have to put in about 90 feet of fence, yay!

Have to head over to Lakeland to exchange needed store supplies before I head into work. They need trashbags, I need customer bags, so we're swapping! There's a panera over there, so I think I'm going to grab a banana pecan bagel before leaving town.
