Oooh, I can't wait to see pictures of him!!!

And I will probably take about 300 pix in Scotland, mostly of men in kilts!:lmao: I called today to make an appointment for my dad to be measured (the guy was supposed to be in NYC this month), and I got to listen to the most delicious Scottish accent on their answering machine! I liked it so much, I called back just to listen again!:rotfl2:

WELCOME BACK!!! We missed you!!

:rotfl2:

hi again! i think i'm all caught up.
but now it's nigh-nigh time. i figured i'd use my son's words since it will very likely him i'll be up with tonight. his 2nd molars are coming in and he's had a really tough time with them, the poor boy.

so i'll see you all in the morning. have a good night!

Poor guy, here's a hug

Wind picked up in the afternoon and blew our shelter back into the corner. Had more broken bolts and a broken pole. DH did get the bent poles straightened. The frame is back together (except the broken pole). Now we have to figure out how to move it back to where it belongs.
Did I mention I hate wind? :headache:

DL55...just move the trailer into the corner along with the shelter! It seems that's where the shelter wants to be anyway....:rotfl: :rotfl:

DL55 - I agree w/ Magikitty. If the cover won't come to you then you have to go to the cover!

Dreamin' - It's never too early to plan for vacation. I've already started. :beach: I have to tell you that when we told our DS5 that we were going camping in Colorado, he said "Okay, but next year I want to go to PA." When asked why he wants to go to PA he said "Cause I want to see the crack in the liberty bell." :rotfl: So maybe next year we'll come visit you.

Magikitty - Let me know how you like the Roomba. I've always thought about getting one.

I'm impressed he knew about the Liberty Bell and knew it was in PA. I live about 90m east of Phila and went on the train 2 yrs ago. Neat place to visit. You can tell him the crack will still be there. :rotfl:

MagiKitty and D&DDisney thats exactly what I told my DH last night! :lmao: Unfortunately March and April are our windy months (even more wind than usual). We HAVE to get this thing tied down. It took my DH two weeks to get the anchors into the ground (think pick ax). Since they are still in the ground it will be quicker to move the darn thing. DH said he'll ask his golfing buddies for help. :flower3:

He knew because he just got a 50 States book with pictures, license plates, etc. For some reason he has become fixed on PA because of the Liberty Bell and visiting Sesame Place which my husband told him about.
Oh, and we'll plan to visit you too when we go.

M&N...where do you live? Isn't 90 miles east of Philly called New Jersey? A friend of mine lives outside of Philly, in Blackburn NJ, just across the bridge...

I want to see the Liberty Bell too! We tried last year, but it closes at five, and we were too late. We went to Dave and Busters instead...

He wants to vacation in PA? That's cool :thumbsup2 Though, I spend my days thinking of ways to vacation OUT of PA. :lmao:

I was wondering the same thing, M&N.
I've lived in PA my whole life and have never been to Philly to see the Liberty Bell. Though the city next to ours was where they hid the Liberty Bell during the Revolutionary War so I have seen that. We only live about 60 miles north of Philly but DH works there so we never take trips down for anything. The last place he wants to go on his day off is the same place he works. You're going to have to give me on report on the Roomba. I hate vacuuming and I will find any way to get out of it, including paying my kids to do it. :rotfl2:

Awww. Poor thing. Teeth are tough. DSs favorite while teething was chewing on a frozen bagle. (We used the mini ones and cut them in 1/2. He could really get it jammed back there, and he didn't feel baby-ish having a teething ring.)

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

D&DDisney- Lost my last multi quote for some reason.
DS is also impressed w/ the Liberty Bell. (Of course, we live in PA.) But, he knows it b/c he got a map puzzle for his birthday that has a picture of it on the PA piece. He picked up on it right away and asks about it sometimes... its funny what kids will decide is interesting. Good for him, too! He probably knows more about US geography than a lot of adults!

Gotta run. Have a good day all!

My laughing smilies won't show up for the quote about taking the trailer to the cover. Don't know why... So, here they are now....
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Huh...

I still can't see them.

Can anyone else?

(Maybe I have to clap 3 times and say "I do believe in smilies, I do believe in smilies...)

If you're talking about these : :rotfl2: they are there.:thumbsup2

I can see the smilies! I can see them!

I'm dying to use the Roomba. Someone else named theirs Spot, which I thought was so funny. He's charging now. Did you know that the Roomba can "sense" when its time to charge, and it actually goes back to the charger? Kinda freaky, but kinda cool at the same time. I have a packet to googly eyes. Just have to check if Roomba works first, coz in case I have to return him, he won't be sullied by lots of glued on items.

Hmmm, we'll have to come up with a cute name for him. How about "The Gremlin"? I had a friend in HS who drove a green Gremlin, and we called it "The Green Hornet". That could work too.

I can't wait to see pix of him with his googly eyes!!:rotfl:

Hi everyone!!!

MagiKitty-Did you think of a name for the Roomba yet? How about Cha Cha or maybe Kozmo? But you definately need a unique name for it. :lmao:

Well, the wedding plans are moving along just fine and dandy. Now we are working on picking out tuxes. My dad emailed me a couple that he likes and his favorite so far is an old-time gangster style. Yep, that will fit right in with the southern belle, irish, bowling beach theme going on right now. :rotfl2: I guess I forgot to tell you all about the beach theme that she has decided on now. The invitations are going to be mailed in a bottle. This wedding is going to crazy. :rotfl: I may have to buy an extra memory card for this.

magsnden-oh, your poor little boy.

Actually, 90 miles east of Philly would be called the Atlantic Ocean!!! :beach:

It won't get the multiquotes from the last page. Actually, I do know where I live. I just don't know how to get there from here. :lmao: I go east to get to Phila. I live west of Phila. I used to live in NJ when I was 4 but that doesn't count. Thanks for finding me.

Just a "drive by" :drive: Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

I can't multiquote this page either, so, I'll try to remember my quick comments

MagiKitty - How 'bout "Pigpen"? A great Peanuts character, and you're little Roomba will be kickin' up a cloud of dust!

M&N - Too funny. I don't know how to get anywhere... I really need a GPS... :confused3

Wow...I guess I never realized how many TKs live in PA or nearby. (I told you I am slow sometimes):snail:

I can see the smilies though... is that a good thing?:confused3

The kids have a Sock Hop at school tonight :dancer: so I have to bake some goodies and gather some soda liters to donate to the festivities.
We'll be rockin' the night away (at least until 8pm.)

Oh I wish my cell phone and camera would do that! :yay:
