I'd like to show DS things, like SF, a city, the coastal landscapes, and green farms/orchards not the brown farms near us.

It would be easy to spend a night in SF, cable cars and China Town. Monterey for the Aquarium would be great but maybe no practical time wise since the trains don't pass through it. Even a baseball game would be fun, though wouldn't work in March(preseason).

Oh, Matt, that sounds like a GREAT trip planned for you and DS!!! I still want to see all of that .. SF, Monterey, ChinaTown…etc.

I love going to baseball games. Football is ok, basketball so so. On tv Football is great, baseball not. I don't like basketball on tv.

That's exactly how I feel about sports, Matt! I absolutely love everything baseball … football, ok … basketball, ok … hockey, ok!

Although our Bruins won the Stanley Cup last year, so I went to the Honda Ctr and bought tickets for the ONLY date they are in SoCal to play the Ducks!!!

AND tonight the Pats will be playing the Broncos … so I want to see if all of TT's praying will help him tonight.

I'm a Cubs fan since birth, the Diamondbacks are my hometown team, the Angles are conveniently located 5 minutes away so I guess I can become a fan.

Oh, Sean, we moved here from Boston in the summer of 2008. First thing I bought was my RALLY MONKEY and proceeded to go to about 10 games!! Angel Stadium is awesome! AND the Anngel's have signed some amazing players this season! Its going to be a FAB season for the HALO's!!!!!
We moved to San Diego from 1/10 to 11/11 and I had two great summers hitting up PETCO PARK to see the Padres!!! Now we are back in the OC and I am excited for this upcoming baseball season to start. EASTER weekend are their first home games! (btw, DH does engineering rail design for CA and they have us moving all.of.the.time.)

Cold. It's supposed to be summer here. I had to pull out the fleece the last three days and we've turned the heating back on again. Today hit mid 60's. Tonight will be low 50's.

Who would have thought that we were about 100's on the 2 Jan?

I personally do not care all that much for sports, unless it is horse racing or tennis, or volleyball. OK or gymnastics or figure ice skating, although I see these two sports more like a performing art.
