PAID OFF!! Today was my last day to pay off my balance and it's done. This is the first time I've waited until the last minute since I mainly used gift card deals. I want to say that I saved over $250 plus money back (Target/Chase deals). Not too bad.

Hopefully prices come down a bit but I was surprised when looking at LL prices out 3 weeks and it $32 for MK on 8/13 especially with Big Thunder and buzz closed then.

Just noticed that on our planned HS day (8/16) that the park closes at 6pm. That seems super early to me. May have to change plans...ugh.

Hello August DISers! I am so excited to be back on the Boards planning a "last-minute" impromptu trip for Aug 6-9. Although DH and I traveled to Disney in 2022 and 2024, our adult children (age 21 and 25 now) haven't been since 2018! TBH, they have been busy with their young adult lives and haven't expressed much interest, but then both my son and daughter brought up Disney separately in the past couple of weeks, so we decided it must be fate. We will also be celebrating our daughter's 22nd birthday. We will be staying at Pop Century and I can't wait to introduce our son and daughter to the Skyliner which wasn't around in 2018!

I'm looking forward to the next week or so of planning, although I admit to being a bit stressed as I usually plan months in advance! Let me know if you have any tips regarding things that have changed since last September!

LL kinda booked although I did mess up our MK day a bit. Is it possible to modify parties? Im separate from my husband and son. Any help is appreciated! !

I actually added on a day at CR and upgraded to TPV since the AP discount made it not much more. So I’ll be coming in on 8/27. I’m still debating whether or not to do Typhoon Lagoon on check in day.

I got DAS when I was down the other week for the Fourth, so I will probably only buy a couple of LLSPs. I only got it on the last day of the trip so it’s still very new to me and I’m trying to figure it out. It’s a long story, but I had a pretty bad meltdown near the end of the queue for Smugglers Run and had to get CMs to assist. They went above and beyond but I don’t want to repeat that whatsoever and I’m deliberately taking it slower this time. It’s not easy as a neurodivergent person admitting that I can’t do it all alone. One of the reasons I added on the extra day was to force myself to slow down, which is very hard when I’m solo (I get excited and gogogo until I inevitably hit a wall).

That's awesome! I was able to get all mornings too and what I wanted. It was my first time with LLMP and expected to be on there ages trying to get what I wanted or to be disappointed but it was quick and I was pleasantly surprised

It's our one week countdown. I had to make some changes to which day we are doing what because my sister's family planned to take a day to Universal but the day they planned was sold out. It works out but I had to change my dining reservation I had a Sci-Fi to the new day we were going. It was not available originally but eventually got something.

We are going without LL so hopefully I won't regret it too much. We will see.

While we're starting at Epcot on Saturday, I didn't want to do anything that day because of what happened to us last year (also known as Hurricane Debby, flight cancelation, driving 17 hours in two days...). We'll be at Epcot on the 13th. Went to get Cosmic Rewind and the first time slot open was 9:10 AM.

So, I decided not to buy yet, but I'll keep checking.

A whole bunch of Geo-82 ADRs dropped just now for the end of August and a few other August dates, I was able to snag an 8:15p one and am hoping to catch fireworks from there! One reason I really like the reservation finder services.

Just left Boardwalk for the beginning of my 1 month sabbatical ..en route to grand canyon and disneyland...and out of curiosity checked on the bounceback offer..and am a solid maybe from Aug 18 to 22..damn you disney haha.

7 days until we arrive. These next 5 days of work are gonna be tough! Did my LL selections this morning. Only doing it for our first MK and HS days. Almost doesn't seem worth it for MK with big thunder and buzz down.
