I know my stressing isn't necessary, but considering that DL is already sold out, I'm stressed nonetheless.

I'm excited that they put out a Disney Visa offer! I was going to wait awhile but maybe I'll sign up early. I'm working on getting DH buy me the race retreat package as a very early birthday gift. Cause between the marathon, race retreat and everything else it's getting pretty pricey!
I was honestly SHOCKED to see DL was sold out when I was on the runDisney site today. It does make me think maybe I should sign up for Goofy now. But I'll keep my eye on it, and if it starts to look like it's filling, then I'll sign up!
The way other races across the country have been filling up at record rates, I wasn't that surprised myself.
I'd planned to sign up for the Full and the Wine and Dine yesterday, but something that couldn't be put off came up, so I had to choose. In my priority rankings, the Full came first, so I signed up for it. If the Wine and Dine is still open next month (as of now they haven't even put it at 50%, so I'm thinking I'll be ok), I'm in that one. If not, no big deal...I've got some options around here. But I didn't want to take a chance on the Full - especially seeing HOW quickly the DL went from 75-80 (I think) to 95 to 98 to full.
I would encourage anyone looking for the half or relay to enter early rather than later. There is a buzz about both races that I have not seen for 10 years. Event the first Goofy was just a bunch of idle chatter until June 05 when the mouse said they would allow and recognized runners doing both the half and the full. The last time I saw this much buzz on the half was the 5th anniversary and it sold out in 3 weeks.
Look for lots of folks to sign up for the Max (aka little goofy) and run a half on both days.
Coach, and anyone else with past experience, generally when you see the buzz like this and anticipate a fast filling, does runDisney usually have enough time to get the '50% full' markers up on the website? I was planning on waiting for that before committing as I'm still debating on some aspects about the time of year. If 'the Max' is running the Donald and the relay, then I am in that boat as that is what I'm considering.
Has anyone heard if the relay will be set up in that one can be waiting with kids at the swap and then the first runner can take over with the kids? If I can get confirmation on this I'm gonna sign us up!
