Geo - 82 fireworks package

I had debated this, but it seems so far away from the show. We were lucky enough to get Rose and Crown Fireworks for our upcoming trip, can't wait to try that out!

We did Rose and Crown fireworks package on our last trip. It was amazing. I'm doing it again in October. One thing, when the show begins, they will offer you to move out to the patio for better viewing, we stayed at our table and just turned our chairs. I spoke to a gentleman who did go out and he said it wasn't worth it. There is no seating and everyone is crowded around the railing so it isn't easier to see. Our main reason for booking the fireworks package was to have seating during the fireworks, so I'm glad we didn't leave our seats. Our server was sweet and funny and generous with the refills. I only drink red wine, but my kids (adults all) had multiple and different cocktails. I highly recommend this fireworks package.

We actually just did the Rose and Crown fireworks last night from my previous post. I am going to be viciously fighting for it for every trip in the future. We actually did go down to the railing, they relocated our table and we didn't have to fight anyone. The views were spectacular and so was the food/service!

Geo-82 for cocktails in the hottest part of the day was where it was at. Another reservation I won't be able to skip!

Just imo, after just coming back from regular bar seating at fireworks time, I would never waste money on the package. Those of us at the bar had just as good if not a better view of the show tbqh. (Loved loved loved the bar though. This is absolutely entering in my rotation.)

OK experienced WDW visitor, but haven’t been in a year and haven’t tried Geo 82. Do you have to reserve bar seating in advance or just show up? What time would you recommend for 9 pm show? Thanks!

I have a feeling that this is going to end up being like the Space 220 restaurant vs lounge situation where the package will be far easier to get than a fireworks time normal reservation.

Booked again around Thanksgiving (maybe the night after?) and was only able to book the package. Imagine my surprise to discover most of the guests were there for the package and the rest of the room was almost empty. I suspect mgmt was pushing the package and opened the rest of the room late. And perhaps I didn’t read what was included but no tip was collected .

OK experienced WDW visitor, but haven’t been in a year and haven’t tried Geo 82. Do you have to reserve bar seating in advance or just show up? What time would you recommend for 9 pm show? Thanks!

If I recall, the last regular ADR time each evening is 8:15 pm. Yes, absolutely make a reservation.
