Hi Lindy
Just been onto Special Assistance of Virgin holidays to request our seats cos of Ellis' allergy. I get so stressed doing this and there's still no guarantees.
They have (eventually, after a lot of persuasion) put a "priority request" on blocked seats 21 ABC or 21 hjk for us. Unfortunately this is only on their computer and they can change it when ever they want to and nothing is guaranteed, hence my stress levels are through the roof til we get our boarding cards. Only another 10 months of worry then!
Dont get me started on Virgin

If it wasn't for the fact they fly every day I would use them.
The hilarious thing last year - Ellis' requested nut free meal on the return flight came with a sticker on it saying "Not guaranteed nut free" - how ridiculous is that
Luckily we had fed him before boarding and took a few snacks with us - thank god.
But, here's the worrying bit...because we have phoned and requested those seats it means I cannot now book online and "save" 3 seats together.
That means come check in on the morning of the flight,we could turn up, they can tell us those requested seats are no longer available and stick us anywhere and not even altogether, which is even more dangerous cos you dont know who you're sitting by and if they've eaten nuts.
ok, rant over - sorry!
Anyway, what seats did you choose? Are you in PE (PREMIUM ECONOMY) or in the cheap seats like us
Afeg - get online they're available and loads have gone already on our flight - Manc vs075 13th Oct. The plan looks a right mess with people having booked 3 aisle seats in a row leaving 2 seats by the window on 3 rows etc on our flight. Best of luck hope you get what you want.
