:rolleyes1 Addicted to Disney....who...me?.....No idea what you mean.... :rolleyes1

ps- Santa on the ladder - its sooooooo tacky that I just had to get it! It even plays tunes if you let it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao:

Keep meaning to ask you english lot of Dissers - who are you getting your holiday insurance with, and do you need a differnet type of cover cos of the cruise?

We usually go with the Post Office, but I'm open to suggestions. :confused3

Karen - try ASDA Insurance and take the annual world wide option. It should cover the cruise - ours does.
Heather

PS - Love the trees, thought I was Disney mad at Christmas, but you've got me beat!

Welcome aboard Jacquelyn and Chris!!

Thanks I'll give me a call. It makes it a bit more difficult getting cover cos of Ellis' allergy - Virgin wanted nearly £600 on top of the policy price to insure him for our last trip, where as the Post Office covered him under their regular policy :confused3 .

Cass, you and Rob made a beautiful baby! Kira is sooo precious :sunny:

Afeg, ( :lmao: ) how are the kids doing with their "mooing" lessons? You are too, too funny!!

They were fine about it until the local farmer offered $250 for jess saying he was "always on the look out for good breeding stock"... :rotfl:

Welcome aboard Jacquelyn and Chris.

Heather thanks for the tip about ASDA... :)

Wow - ASDA are great! :yay: :yay: :thumbsup2 For the annual policy for all 3 of us inc all cover inc the fact we are cruising and Ellis' nut allergy and baggage etc £162.52!!!!!!!!!!!!  or withour baggage cover £129.74. Thats a multi trip for a year and hubby is covered too if he travels alone (ie I dont have to be travelling with him as main policy holder)

Thats amazing! Virgin wanted approx £800 for a single trip!

Thanks Heather :thumbsup2

Does anyone know if they sell a policy like this in the States? We usually go through Travelex on a trip by trip basis. This would be so much easier.

Congrats on getting a good deal.

ASDA is a supermarket over here and is owned by WALMART so you may want to start looking there.... :)

Good save Brenda.

I was watching it earlier tonight and it was getting in the bottom 10. Anytime I can see our thread and the bottom of the first page I know we're going down.

I wait to see if we can recover, but if we get to the bottom three, it's time to bring out the paddles.

CLEAR!!! beeeeeeeeep, beeeep, beeep, beep, beep, beep.

We recovered.

Thanks, Jeff! Just trying to do my part... ;)

Did I tell you guys that Jason and I actually ended up with reservations for the Chef's Table at Victoria & Albert's for 2 nights in May?

Why can't we be that lucky when we play the lottery? :teeth:

Anyway, we released the table for 5/28 and are thrilled that we'll be able to celebrate our anniversary on the 29th of May at V&A...four hours of fine dining and fine drinking...Christmas came early to our house this year!! :goodvibes

Wow, ive just read the last few pages, arent we chatty! :thumbsup2

Welcome to Jacquelyn and Chris :welcome: you sure chose a great cruise to join !

Pooh bush, glad for you and Katie that the teeth news is good ! :thumbsup2

Jeff thanks for updating the list, it must be my age, but its soooo handy to be able to go back to the list to refresh my mind on peoples "real" names !

Cass, the photos are sooo cute, Kira really is a little princess. princess: You and Rob enjoy your first Christmas as a family. :grouphug:

Nancy as for "traditions" ( I loved you PM, which detalied lots to me :sunny: )
We do the following. Sadly I have to work Xmas eve, to prepare for the Crazy crazy sale Next hold on the 27th. We finish at about 6pm, and we do our "sale shopping, so get all the bargains :thumbsup2 , well there has to be some perks. :teeth: My parents travel about 200 miles, from Sussex to our home ( im an only child) we all then go to my friends for Xmas eve night. We usually have a small house party. Last year we played Dog racing on the DVD, betting 20p a time. :rotfl2: The "fairies" bring Elouise a new nightie, and she puts it on, to go home in the car after midnight. My Dad doesnt drink too much, so he drives. We and Wayne guzzle lots of booze :teeth:
Christmas day, Elouise wakes up to find a sack from Father Christmas, she ususally comes inn our room and we all sit on our bed and watch her open her gifts. ( dgood thing we have a super king size bed! )
We get dressed have champagne and crossaints for breakfast.
We open our main presents in stages. Elouise is very lucky with gifts, so we stagger them over a few days, so she can appreicate them. We insist all thank you notes are written before 31st Dec.
Lunch is usual turkey and trimmings, we then watch some TV. Waynes parents come over for tea, we might play cards, or a family game.
We always go to the local park to feed the ducks and Wallk our Dog on Boxing day. We have cold meats, mashed potatos and pickles to eat. Its an open house and many friends drop in. Its busy, but great fun.

Karen, your decorations are amazing. I was quite pleased with my tree, until I saw yours !
Glad you can save some money with the travel insurance, Virgin are sooo cheeky with their costs !

Heather, who do you ring for the insurance ? that deal sounds good, especially if it covers the cruise, which we must have covered.

Brenda, I have your Hard Rock pins from New York, I will try and send you the photos in a PM, bare with me, im off to work now.

I've just returned from shopping (again). I cant seem to stop buying  .
