Thats all folks!

Theres a lot more around the house but if I photographed everything I'd be here til next July!

Merry christmas :santa:

Karen,
I love your nutcrackers!! Some day I'm going to buy some of those German ones, but they are really pricey over here in the states so I'm just going to stare enviously at yours. :teeth:

BTW - the rest of your home looks lovely!!

Thank you Brenda. They are expensive, but are sooooo lovely in real life. I have about 10 others but they are the painted type - nice but not as nice (if you know what I mean!) The plain wooden ones are my favourite. I think they're about £60-75 each, But I only get 1 or 2 a year when Neil goes to Heidelberg working. The christmas shop there is fantastic - magical almost! Ellis and I went with him once - oooooooooooooooh - could have spent a fortune (well, actually I DID!) :rotfl:

"Good Morning my friendly Users. Just wondering...how many American Dollars does it cost to fly over here?"

Nancy am being quoted £3600 ($7000)for the cattle pens or £5350 ($10500)for the posh seats for the clan, thats 5 adults, save to say ive got the kids practising thier mooing.... :lmao:

Nancy

Sorry I forgot to answer you - Our accom and flights are £2500ish (not inc the cruise) for the 3 of us for 17 days.

ps...Love the ladder..... :lmao:

:rolleyes1 Addicted to Disney....who...me?.....No idea what you mean.... :rolleyes1

ps- Santa on the ladder - its sooooooo tacky that I just had to get it! It even plays tunes if you let it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao:

Keep meaning to ask you english lot of Dissers - who are you getting your holiday insurance with, and do you need a differnet type of cover cos of the cruise?

We usually go with the Post Office, but I'm open to suggestions. :confused3

Karen, Wow! What beautiful trees. I love the Nutcrackers and especially the moose. :thumbsup2 If that moose ever comes up missing, you may want to check a certain house in Wisconsin for it. :smooth:

Heather, you are more than welcome to join us for Christmas although after I saw the price of getting here from the UK, it might be cheaper for me just to send some dinner over to you. :rotfl2:

Afeg, ( :lmao: ) how are the kids doing with their "mooing" lessons? You are too, too funny!! :rotfl2:

Jo, That's hilarious about the last minute Walgreens shopping trip. Chuck has been known to do the same thing. Every year for Valentine's Day I get some cheesy fake flowers from Walgreens from him. It's become a standing joke for us now. Of course, he always has a little something else on the side.
I love "Christmas Vacation" too. One of my favorites. I especially love the part when cousin Eddie is on the diving board with his "wife beater" tucked into his speedo! Or the part where he has on the white turtleneck and you can see his dark green dickie through it, the tight doubleknit polyester pants and the white shoes!!

Brenda, Feeling better yet?? Here's a :grouphug: for you. Boardwalk huh? How do you get there? Florida Tours? I still can't get an answer from them. Can you send me a link? Is Boardwalk a DVC resort? We weren't smart enough to join the DVC yet. Waiting to win the lottery first.

Cass, how are you? Getting some well deserved rest I hope. How's Kira doing?

Hello all-

Just wanted to check in & introduce us. My hubby and I will be joinging you on the 10/20/07 cruise. We rebooked while we were onbaord the Magic 2 weeks ago. We booked another Cat 6 w/ a Verandah. We were spoiled. For this cruise it will just be the 2 of us. The last cruise was a family cruise for my parents 60th birthdays! We had a blast!
Can't wait until October 2007. (Although I don't want to wish away my beach days in Ocean City!)

Jacquelyn & Chris

Welcome mollygirl13! A fellow east coaster! We're so outnumbered here. Lots of UKers and Wisconsonites. Our very first cruise was just me and DH. It's tons of fun!

Karen, I just can't believe you have 3 trees! It must take you FOREVER to pack and unpack all that stuff. It's very beautiful.

All the traditions and non-traditions sound lovely. Like Nancy, one of our traditions has to do with food. We have doughnuts on Christmas morning. We always buy them on the 24th, then eat a few in the morning as we open presents. It's not Christmas without doughnuts! :thumbsup2

Well, the dentist said Katie's teeth seem to be healing fine. She may lose them earlier than normal, but no biggie. Whew! I really didn't want her to have her teeth wired up at such a young age.

Hi guys!
:wave2:
Just wanted to pop in quick and say hello to everyone!

Hopefully everyone is doing well and getting all that holiday shopping done

I miss chatting about Disney stuff with all of you, but I am still suffering from carpal tunnel and it's killing me to type stuff on the computer so I have been staying away from the computer as much as possible!

I finally got around to putting up some photos on my website today, if you would like to check them out:

Hugs to every one, I will be back soon! :grouphug:

Oh Cass - WHAT A CUTIE!

I love the photos where she has her one arm and shoulder out and the ones where she is all snuggled up in her blankets

Hope you're feeling better soon. Take care of yourselves :wave2:

Tina - yes it takes about a week normally to "do" the house from start to finish, but it looks nice once its done.

I like the doughnut tradition - might just have to start that
ourselves :goodvibes . Glad to hear Katies teeth will be ok :thumbsup2

Mollygirl - welcome Jacquelyn and Chris. :wave2: Nice to have you join our little party.

Nancy - I'll keep a close eye on my mousse - if he goes walkablout I'll know where to come :teeth:

Have a great day everyone.

I hope its warmed up for you all now and the blizzards are over.

Just been chatting to another Brit on the Dibb, he's on our cruise too!
I have given him the link to find his way on here, so we may get another newbie soon.

Cass,

Kira is very adorable. Hope you are feeling better.

Jeff

Let's see, Christmas traditions....

Suz going all out in decorating and me complaining about having to help. She puts up 3 trees that are over 6' tall plus 2 tabletop trees. She has two small villages put up and then her Manger scene. Plus some other small decorations around the house. I also have to put the lights on the house and bushes (which after the snow, anything low is now covered)

Other traditions include having to go over to the out-laws for Christmas day. That's always a treat.

We used to do Xmas eve at my parents, but both are deceased so now, me and my siblings get together whenever my brother from CA decides he wants to come in for the holidays (usually one of the weekends earlier in the month - this year it is the 16th).

The best Xmas tradition is just getting up and watching DS's reaction when he sees the presents. Hoping this is not the last year.

What would be an ideal holiday would be to sleep in, watch DS open his gifts, sit around all day and watch movies without having to go anywhere. Just relaxing. I'm trying to convince DW that we go on vacation that week, but she won't go for that - yet.

WELCOME to Jacquelyn and Chris!! We're a crazy chatty bunch but we grow on people.

Cass, Oh my heart just thumps when I see those pictures. How precious. :cloud9:

Jeff, thanks for updating our DISlist. I'll have to print it out soon.

Have a great day all...
Nancy
