DD came up from Charlotte yesterday for the day. Remember I posted that her car had been hit a couple of weeks ago. (It was the first night she was in her new apartment and someone hit her car in the parking lot.) This is the first time that DH and I had seen the car. She had told us how bad it was and we just knew that she was exagerating. Well, guess what - she wasn't exagerating!!! OMG! I cannot believe the damage from a parking lot accident. She wasn't even in the car, it was parked. But she has a little Nissan and it was hit by a Toyota Tundra. The officer that came out to do the report told her it was her fault because she was not in a lined parking space. She was parked along a curb because all of the parking spaces were full. The entire curb was full of cars and there was plenty of room to go around them. Well, she's been back and forth with his insurance company and yesterday they called and said that "it has been determined that their client was at fault!"
She has an appointment for an estimate next Thursday.

Hi Lyn.

That has got to make her feel so good-And justice has been served!!!! She wasn't even in the car for crying out loud-what was that Officer's deal-so glad to hear it's all turned out good
it's nice and sunny here. We need to soak up all the sunrays we can before it turns dark and gloomy for 4 months

But we're so excited that Fall is here and it's still always in the hi80's-just not as humid anymore
