DVC Direct Nov 25 Sales

Thanks for posting. The most interesting line to me:

"Despite November, DVC point sales in 2025 have already surpassed 2024’s point total (1,703,032 points to 1,693,637) with one month still to go."

So, with both increasing prices and an increase in year over year number of points sold, looking like a pretty good year for DVD, I would think.

Here is the link to the DVC News November 2025 sales article:

Interesting trend with 2042s still selling, a few 25 pointers, and overall less points sold.
A single 300 BCV direct contract at $275pp…..

That’s $82,500 upfront + closing costs and $2,943 in annual dues….

That’s $18.33 a point upfront + $9.81 in dues + $10.86pp in lost interest on that money… OR nearly $39pp and its worth $0 in 15 years….

I know waiting a 60’days for resale points is a PITA… but that’s $41,250 for the same points and $1650 in lost interest …

JUST PAY CASH!

I think it conclusively proves that PIT was a good idea for DVC, even if I don't particularly like it. Not everything has to be for everyone, and that's okay.

In comparison to PIT, it seems that CFW is for nobody.

Mind boggling

If they purchased resale they would have $75,000 more dollars in 15 years at a 4% interest rate & would have had the same amount of DVC points available to use the whole time….. SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
Maybe they thought it was worth it to be able to use those points at RIV and CFW. LOL. Or maybe Moonlight Magic - they really wanted to be eligible for Moonlight Magic 🤣.
