leshunlenese said:Hey There! I thought i would join in because I wanted to let you know that i am borrowing some of your saving ideas. I hope that's ok. As a single parent by budget is tight. I love Swagbucks! I use them to get amazon giftcards to buy my books for school in the past! OOO let me tell you! Target is bad BUT IN A GOOD WAY! I love me some target too. They get you because they always have those clearance end caps and stuff. It is more dangerous this month because i just moved and they have so much home stuff on sale. I got a mickey shower curtain that was 20 for 5 dollars!
Hey there! Feel free! I'm not a total savings diva, but I really want to be! I love, love, love Target! We were just there this AM. I bought a cartful of stuff, spent $32 (saved $27 with coupons and sales!). I try to catch stuff after it goes "double hard marked" on clearance - today I got bottles of Head and Shoulders (only thing DH will use) for 48cents a bottle!!! I got 5 of them, lol! I also got PB the new Tinkerbell movie that she's freaking out about.

). And also because I had to pay for PB's new competition leo for gymnastics, as well as Jelly's soccer registration.
), Jelly had his first soccer game today! There's large indoor sports (read: soccer) facility near us that does a 'winter league' for the littles. Jelly wasn't old enough to play for our local league (doesn't start til 4; he won't be 4 until February), but the indoor league starts at 3.5, so we signed him up! He LOOOOVVVVVVVVVVED it. He was very mad when his time was up. Soccer reigns supreme in our area - it's not uncommon for kids to be on 3 or 4 different teams in different leagues, 4-5 days a week, travelling, etc. PB was SO not into soccer, but Jelly is much more physical in nature. So that's what I'm up to.

Once it's all put together I'll be sure to post a pic.
Black Friday peeps!
I let my cousin "drive" it and I was on the right "passengers" side helping. I would like to try them again, but it would be very hard with a child because there is really no where for him to sit. The seats are like a bike seat with only the front handlebars for him to hold on. The very front has a toddler sized seat, but he might be too big for that. Anyway....I think you should try the surrey bikes...they are great!
)
to you!!!

I'm only available 1-2 days a week with other commitments, so I think thats pretty good. With Black Friday, the next check should be awesome, since I worked 8 hours yesterday and do another 8 today. It's crazy how easily I slip back into "retail mode." I totally miss it like crazy but NO WAY I could ever go back for real. I'm having fun being a part-timer!
