Fingers crossed for a better quick service with chicken tenders that don’t require a walk to Beach Club.Disney's BoardWalk Inn to Undergo Refurbishment Through 2026
Disney's BoardWalk Inn will enter a new phase of refurbishment beginning in late November 2025, with work continuing through 2026.
Disney shared that the project will affect select areas of the resort, though the company has not specified which spaces are included or the scope of what will be updated.
You may see or hear work during daytime hours once the project begins. Disney notes that most amenities at Disney's BoardWalk Inn will stay available during the refurbishment period, including dining, recreation, and merchandise locations. At this stage, there's no timeline for when specific areas will close or what changes are planned.
Refurbishments at Disney's BoardWalk Inn have been ongoing in recent years as Disney updates guest rooms, public spaces, and dining offerings across its resort portfolio. This upcoming work appears to be the next step, but details remain limited.
That is sorely needed.Hopefully this will include some updates for the empty side of the Boardwalk.
OOOOHHHHH! Is this a Club Room with that mimosa? We have been wanting to stay at Boardwalk for a few years now but every time we go to book they only have a cottage(I forget the actual room type available - which only sleeps 2) and we usually travel with three of us (either us and our son, or us and my mom, who enjoys Club level but needs to be close by due to mobility issues. This view - whatever it is - I'm sold!
Sorry but no this is a view from a Boardwalk Villa balcony overlooking Leaping Horse Libations and the Luna Park Pool.Is this a Club Room with that mimosa?
The good news is that you can get this great view for a price. Just purchase Disney DVC points or book directly with Disney for a 1 BR Villa or a Deluxe Studio with a Garden / Pool view. This view - whatever it is - I'm sold!

Just wanted to follow up on this. I still have not seen any work started to date. I even walked back over yesterday for lunch and nothing. I will be back again very soon and can follow up then, if not reported by blogs before hand.Disney's BoardWalk Inn to Undergo Refurbishment Through 2026

We stayed the week before thanksgiving and gotta agree. At least in the evening the boardwalk is coming back. Live entertainment and lots of activities. That said, however the DVC side is still pretty much of a ghost town. Easy to find a quiet bench to sit and relax.I love that the Boardwalk got its energetic vibe back. When we stayed December 2023 it was still on the very mellow side post-2020. Our 2 stays since the Boardwalk has been much more lively, especially in the evenings.
