Yes,still every other day.Staying at AoA in 2 weeks - getting my housekeeping tip envelopes ready. Are they still doing every other day room cleaning? And has anyone had problems with trash pick up on the off days if they are doing every other day room cleaning.

I can't hardly wait for November 2025 to stay in the Lion King Suite at AOA!

I believe the finding nemo suites are considered "preferred" since they're right behind the main building and close to skyliner, they're typically more expensive than cars and lion king as well. I don't believe there's a "preferred" category for little mermaid.Considering booking a LM room at AoA for November 2026. It looks like a LOOOONG walk from the front of the resort to the LM section; are there "preferred" rooms at AoA that put you closer to the front of the resort, or just suites?
Not sure of the distances but Little Mermaid does at least feel to be a longer walk to me.Considering booking a LM room at AoA for November 2026. The best you can do is request buildings 7 or 9 and hope you don’t get building 8.Considering booking a LM room at AoA for November 2026. It really depends on what building you're in for the LM rooms (LM is the only standard room section at AoA. All other buildings are suites.). Our son and his wife have stayed in a LM a few times. They've always requested (and got) rooms in buildings 7 or 9 and didn't feel like they had a long walk to the food court/bus stop compared to other Value resorts they stayed at. When they stayed at ASMu a few years ago they were in the Country Fair section in a room at the far back end of that building. They said it was definitely a longer walk from that room to the food court than it was from any of their LM rooms to the food court (again, they were never in bldg. 8). If you measure it out on an app, the furthest room to food court distance at ASMu is a little over 1700 ft. The furthest LM room to the food court distance at AoA is a little over 1800 ft. So, they're very similar. We we *love* AoA but stay in a suite (LK or Nemo) there, so the walk is always short for us. Honestly, when we don't need a suite anymore and just want to book a standard room, I'll book a preferred room at Pop Century rather than a LM at AoA.Considering booking a LM room at AoA for November 2026. I’ve stayed in a LM room and at AllStar Music. The walk from the furthest out standard rooms at Music seems like a quicker walk than a LM room to me.
Have you stayed at a standard room at Sports and can make that comparison? Recently switched the first 3 nights of my stay to Sports Standard (it was the only value available with the bounceback) and now the Little Mermaid rooms at AoA are available. They skyliner tempts me to switch, but I'm also afraid of it being a loooong walk to both the skyliner and the bus stop
The standard rooms at Sports are a much closer walk to the main building in comparison to standard at Music, so yeah Sports will be a much quicker walk to the buses than a LM room at AofA.Have you stayed at a standard room at Sports and can make that comparison? Is there a reason there is not a “Resort Thread” tag on this thread like all the others?
Question about the Cars Suites. We are going with a pack and play. We usually put the pack and play in a closet, but I know these rooms don't have closets. I was thinking about putting it in a corner where the coar rack is (I think) and hanging a curtain around it. Is that something that could work in these rooms? Or do you have another suggestion? We checked in this morning and hotel is awesome! We arrived around 9:30 not expecting a room to be ready given check out time hadn't even arrived but they told us they had a Cars Suite available (we booked a Cars Suite) so it was no problem to get into the room right away. Unfortunately, no one actually verified with housekeeping or housekeeping didn't verify that the room was A. Empty or B. Clean. So we got to the room I opened the door and well all I can say is that family may never be the same after having someone open the door on them ummmm how to word this so I don't get dinged for improper language... "going to the movies" I backed out of the room quickly yelling sorry and slamming the door. We went back to the front desk and got moved to a different move the manager went and checked before allowing us to go there to make sure this room was ready and empty. We originally would have been in Building 1 but got moved to Building 3 in a 2nd floor facing the pool. Great location close to the elevator and the room is quite nice!
We didn't use the food court we did get mugs though and have gone in just to get beverages. Everyone though has been quite friendly and when the big oops done, they couldn't have apologized more I told them to save the big apologies for that other family in case they complain as they were the ones who probably died of embarrassment!
Thought the big blue pool looked like a lot of fun but appeared to be quite loud when they were doing activities so the pool in the cars section seems to be a great fit for us even though it is smaller in comparison. I love to have a great time and can see that they have set this area up to encourage that but when they run activities or when it's been busy the noise level can be a bit bothersome for long bursts of time. So we will balance our time between both pools.
We will explore the rest of the resort over the next few days but I think the decorations in the room are great, the life size characters make it feel so realistic to the movie cars, kids love it from what I've seen and I am glad despite the mix up that we chose to stay here.
If you have questions I can try and find the answer to them while I am here just let me know!
We put ours in the bathroom attached to the bedroom and closed the door. That bathroom was only for the baby sleeping in it and we all shared the main room bathroom.Question about the Cars Suites.
