WHAT?! OH YEEEESSSSS!

MAGIC KINGDOM PARK HOURS EXTENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
![]()
Animal Kingdom 9pm and 9:30pm on my dates!
I'm seeing AK open till 9-9:30 on some nights too!!
I think 11 would work, we can sort out the details in PM. So awesome of you to offer! I'll definitely find some way to pay your kindness forward during my visit.![]()
Does anyone else hate this "limbo" period? "60 days" mark has passed, plans finalized, final payment made, Magic Bands are still a week from shipping. We leave 35 days from today and every day is now crawling by. Is it too early to start packing?![]()

Yay! I'm just so happy that someone will get to enjoy the cake (and maybe a little sad that it won't be me)!
Yes, they are. I confirmed with a CM when I had to change my reservations tooI have same number and my magic bands show active. Nothing pending. So I take it that the bands I have will work. Thanks for the information!
I just want to vent a little. So we're 18 days out and I've come down with a case of benign-something-or-other-vertigo. Basically dizziness and tipsiness with 0% of the fun. Apparently caused by some sinus congestion in my inner ears. Fabulous! So I'm hoping I can get this in order before it's time to go on some rollercoasters. Otherwise I'm going to be a real bummed out lady. /vent off
So last year we were going to Dollywood -specifically to go on their insane new coaster. About a month before I woke up and the room was flipping upside down. Scared the crap out of me! It went away after a minute or so. I had BPV - benign positional vertigo. Basically there are little "rocks" in your ear canals, and somehow they got dislodged.
So there is this maneuver you can do, either your doctor can do it or you do it yourself. The Epley. It basically induces vertigo and puts the rocks back in place. You may have to do it more than once.
So we tried it - I got so dizzy it felt like I was falling off the bed while I was just sitting still. Freaked me out so bad that i said forget it! But even though the vertigo lessened a lot, I still had it almost a month later and was sleeping on one side basically sitting up. I could walk fine and only got dizzy with certain head positions. But I still had it.
So one night we tried the Epley again. Bing bang bam - gone! Three days later we left for Dollywood and I went on everything no issues!!!
Now this only works with the type of vertigo I have so you should double check with your doctor - but it's a proven method of treatment. My dad did it also!
Good luck!
Oh yes thats what it was, I wonder if it has to do with that as well. The immediate care doc said it was pressure but who knows, if it doesn't go away I might look up that method. It was just a clinic down the street in Hanover Park (NW Burbs) so they aren't as familiar with my medical background. Thanks, now I can fall into a youtube hole researching this technique
Just be careful - it's ONLY for the type of vertigo I had, which was brought on by the position my head was in while I was sleeping (I woke up almost upside down hanging off the bed).![]()
Wow how does that even happen! Bodies are weird huh?
There may have been some cocktails the evening before.
When I first woke up I just thought I had the spins!Nope, I fell asleep all funky and lost my rocks!
