We’ve talked about this recently. A Hearthstone mgr told me they are hoping to be open by Valentine’s Day. No “official” word yet. When you see the outside patio, it still looks rough…We’ll see!!

I think I remember him saying a month or so ago that it was still down to studs, so not very far along.

No clue. I just know Freshbaked does a regular or semi-regular construction update around DLR. Many times he will walk through DTD, the hotels and the parks and mention reopening dates and timeframes.

This is what I was hoping to hear! I am going 3/1-3/5 and would really love to dine there as we missed it our last trip.

The brunch was great as always. It did lose a little charm in its move to the Trillum Room. But still a really nice event. Of course, I might be a little biased by the fact that our first princess meeting was Belle in her red dress. They invited us out to the patio right after being seated and found her there in her red Christmas gown!

We had an outstanding time despite crowds being quite a bit heavier than the same days in 2024 and 2025. But it was just me and my 25 year old daughter, so we're pretty good at bobbing and weaving and did pretty much what we planned.

Weather was outstanding despite it showing rain every day a week or so out. Gorgeous highs around 65. Perfect Disney weather.

The biggest disappointment was our worst visit ever to Plaza Inn. Only saw 4 characters (typically see 8). Talked to the management standing there about 45 minutes in and were informed they had all left (we had a 10:40 seating like we have had on many trips). Oh, but they were sorry. $100 for 2 breakfasts. At least the potatoes were good.

Loved the Christmas Carol dinner, although the quantity of people there was crazy. Mass of people waiting when we got there. Huge lines at the buffet. But the characters were so cool, I didn't even care.

Thanks again for your details on the March Down Main Street. I had a lot of fun with that. I caught it 3 times to get both sets of costumes in all the spots. Had a great time chatting with others doing the same thing. First time had a grumpy CM at the BBB podium who made me move behind the castle at the last minute (despite me staking it out early). But had a lovely experience yesterday. Stood by a passholder named Debbie who gave me the best route to capture it all. I'll share some photos when I get them downloaded. But your tips were so helpful. Thanks again!

I'll have some photos ready to share soon.

The characters signed as their original Disney names (not as their Christmas Carol character) but that was fine. I didn't ask them to do it differently. I just doubt they could have since I'm sure they train on how to sign consistently. Didn't want to encourage anyone to go rogue.

It looked like a lot of people were really getting into the spirit. A man at the table next to us was dressed as Scrooge, complete with top hat, red coat and jeweled money brooch. A girl came in wearing a carbon copy of Minnie's dress as Mrs. Cratchit. Just a fun atmosphere.
