EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

Should I email them for example my MVMCP date, and both my tommorowland and illuminations dessert party dates as well as keys to the kingdom tour date ect.? Or will they see it on MDE app. already? I'm also assuming since they are planning the morning safari for us that would be included while staying at AKL.
Keys to the kingdom and illuminations dessert is during out RPC stay. I've never done a spit stay CL, first time jumping during CL so should b fun : )

Thanks in advance

You have to send them all that. They don't look at your MDE, they can only see the things they booked for you. :)

At BWI now if anyone has any questions. The rehab looks great--the bathroom and vanity is vastly improved and very nice! There's tons of construction going on in the rooms between the desk and the lounge. We're nestled in between rooms being refurbed--I'm hoping they don't start hammering early as we can hear construction going on next door right now at 4:45.

I don't know if this was mentioned, but there is no espresso machine now. The Nescafé machine is gone and there are three urns--one filled with coffee, one with decaf, and one with hot water. I asked if they were getting an nespresso machine, and was told that they've requested one, but we're told they wouldn't have one for a while--if ever. A little bit of a bummer as I love the nespresso machines at the CR and GF lounges.

We will be at Poly and YC CLs next...

UGH! I didn't know there was still construction on that floor. :(

There's now a link on the first page of the BWI FAQ thread. Search for the word "rehab."

I warn you though...it's not pretty.

I have to agree, I don't like the new decor at all. Everything just seems thrown together with nothing matching :(.

We originally booked a stay in September at CR-Atrium CL with my DH AP. However, he is not going to be able to go with us due to a work commitment (he will join us the last 2 days), I had planned to upgrade my MYW ticket to an AP during the trip, but won't have an AP upon check in. Can they upgrade my ticket at the CL desk when I check in to make sure we get the rate?

THANKS!

Ditto this, not a fan either of the pictures I've seen at BWI. But I also liked the previous decor at GF resort, and the new decor not a fan while others have said they liked it better. The villas at GF I do like and are decorated nicely. It's all about personal opinion and preferred taste ... So others my like the new decor at BWI : )

You will be fine as you usually have 24 hours to show a valid AP if you don't have one at check in :). Sometimes they don't even ask to see an AP, but if you are asked for it, just let the CM know that you are going to be upgrading your ticket.

You're not alone as I don't like the new GF decor, either :sad2:. But also like you, I do think the VGF decor is beautiful. I wish they would have carried that decor over to the GF, which would have tied the two together nicely, IMO.

Thank you so much!!!

We're doing a split stay in December. First at BLT than off to WL. We are going to spend the first WL day at EPCOT and will be there fairly late. Can we check in WL at about 7am, grab a coffee in the lounge and then head on out so we can get right to bed when get back? And would our luggage be in the room when we get back to our room at WL or will we have to collect it from bell services? Is that too early to arrive even though we don't want to get in the room? I just want to get check in out of the way knowing we'll be tired that night.

A 7 am check in is fine as you can check in as early as 6 am (which is when the computers roll over for the day) and you will have access to the lounge upon check in. I don't think your luggage will be delivered to the room without someone in the room to receive it, but hopefully someone will be able to verify that or correct me if I'm wrong. If that is the case, you can either get your luggage from bell services when you get back to the resort or you can call them from the room and have them deliver it at that time. Have a great trip :wizard:.

I will try to grab and post a few pictures soon. I think the hallways look way better than the previous pink and the kids love hopping on the circles on the carpet down the hallway. The vanity is really nice, but I do think it's missing that super flattering light that is in most Disney resort vanity areas in the deluxe hotels--I'm sure you ladies know what I'm talking about. :) The bathroom is done very nicely--the fake wood floors are perhaps a little too fake-ish, but I like everything else. I suppose my only other slight criticism is that the runners and the yellow armoire from the previous room seem a little out of place with the new soft goods. Otherwise, though, everything is well done, IMO.

I don't know if the third floor rooms were done. But we stayed in the deluxe room on the 3rd floor last summer, and I wouldn't miss that opportunity to do that again even of the room wasn't rehabbed. :)

Also, seems like a really new staff this year--I only recognize a few faces from last year. But we had a great conversation with some of the younger members last night as we closed down the lounge. :) I still think BWI has one of the friendliest CL staffs.

:wave2: Thanks much... truly appreciated :flower3:

That's great to hear... can't wait to meet them :thumbsup2

Definitely give them your cell number so they can text you when your room is ready. Once you get to your room you'll have to call bell services to request your luggage be sent up. They aren't going to miss a chance for a tip! ;)

We have 2 nights this weekend standard YC CL booked. I just noticed that a standard BC CL room opened up…not sure if I should switch??? Is there a huge difference between the two? I've stayed YC CL before and enjoyed it. I'll be traveling with 2 more adults and their 2 girls (6 and 8)..they've never stayed at BC/YC. Their seasonal APs will be blocked so we'll just be using the pool and maybe watching fireworks at MK via Poly at night. Thoughts please!! We check in on Friday!

Okay, another weird question. We have now, at the last minute, decided to add a Disney cruise to the beginning of our vacation. It lands us back at port canaveral on the 31st, but our package doesn't start until the 1st. I'm thinking of doing a one night club level stay somewhere, but with this already outrageously expensive vacation, was hoping for a more reasonable place for that one night. What would be the most reasonable of the club level resorts? I mean, other than like Coronado Springs.. I realize it would be subject to availability, but so I would know what to look for... Thank you! :)

Hi hi ... The two lowest are wilderness lodge and AKL. But I think you mentioned AKL rooms are to small for your family size if I remember right, and wilderness lodge main pool is under construction until the end of November at least. It's rumored they may/will be giving passes to blizzard beach. But it is certain you can use the CR or FW pools as well as WL quiet pool of course. If AKL would work for you it's of course a fabulous option
