Hey gang!!!!!!

Sorry I've been MIA, we've had a crazy busy summer! After Disney the kids went to camp for a week, then I went to Kentucky to visit my Mom, then Mom came back home with me to visit and we took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge last week to celebrate the 4th. Now my oldest is in summer school and I just can't seem to slow summer down! Summer school ends July 28th and my oldest has mandatory marching band camp starting August 4th so by some MIRACLE beyond miracles we've been able to squeeze in a short Florida trip at the end of this month! 2 nights at BWI CL so we can go to the Frozen Summer Fun and then 3 nights Royal Pacific so we can see the new Diagon Alley! This is also my oldest son's 15th birthday!!!!! By the time we get back summer will be over for us with school starting back August 11th. I can't wait to report back all the new things we get to see!!!

I have been given a gold (but blank) KTTW card twice in the past year (once in March, once in June). Both times, my room wasn't ready at check in, and the MB won't access the CL elevators/building unless you've opened the door to your room first. This is the current work-around.

Does anyone have experience with in room babysitting while club level? We will be celebrating our 5 yr anniversary with a chefs dinner at Flying fish and will have Kids Nite Out come to the room at the YC. I'm concerned about the restricted access to get to the floor if they decide to leave and come back. Will club level provide a key for them to use or would my kids magic bands be adequate? They are only 5 and 2 so I'm not sure how much capability their bands will have!

My husband I are staying club level for this first time this October. I have made arrangements for some activities outside the use of the IPO (Exotic Drive Experience, Private Dining) I've read that you receive an itinerary of your trip on arrival. Is that true? If so, if I contact the IPO with these other arrangements, will they add them to our itinerary? I thought it would be a great momento to save from the trip. Thanks to everyone!

In POST 1 of the thread, I have rehab information posted in RED and the link to photos of the newly rehabbed rooms and lounge. The lounge didn't undergo very significant changes: drapery, some furniture and carpeting - they still don't have a fridge. The common area/hallway carpeting was also replaced.

Yep! I always email IPO a list of my other arrangements so they can merge them. I actually have them email me a copy before I leave home. But you will get another copy when you check-in. Or if they forget to print it you can just ask them.

At BWI now if anyone has any questions. The rehab looks great--the bathroom and vanity is vastly improved and very nice! There's tons of construction going on in the rooms between the desk and the lounge. We're nestled in between rooms being refurbed--I'm hoping they don't start hammering early as we can hear construction going on next door right now at 4:45.

I don't know if this was mentioned, but there is no espresso machine now. The Nescafé machine is gone and there are three urns--one filled with coffee, one with decaf, and one with hot water. I asked if they were getting an nespresso machine, and was told that they've requested one, but we're told they wouldn't have one for a while--if ever. A little bit of a bummer as I love the nespresso machines at the CR and GF lounges.

We will be at Poly and YC CLs next...

I will be checking in a week from today into a Deluxe CL room there- cannot wait!! So are they still working on both the 3rd & 4th floors? I requested a 3rd floor room to get the bigger balcony but now I'm worried I may regret it if the 4th floor rooms are already rehabbed and the 3rd are not. Would love any info you could pass on.

Should I email them for example my MVMCP date, and both my tommorowland and illuminations dessert party dates as well as keys to the kingdom tour date ect.? Or will they see it on MDE app. already? I'm also assuming since they are planning the morning safari for us that would be included while staying at AKL.
Keys to the kingdom and illuminations dessert is during out RPC stay. I've never done a spit stay CL, first time jumping during CL so should b fun : )

In SL, they are by request only. Deluxe rooms are a bookable category in RPC and other outer buildings, but they are only a request in SL.

As MickeyNut said the deluxe rooms in SL are by request only...

There are exactly three of them..rooms number 6220..second floor...and because it is along the portico roof line has a nice large balcony..but it is enclosed...6320..third floor..large balcony with the pretty railing..and 6420..this deluxe room has NO balcony as there is a suite next door.... HTH...

What a wonderful way to celebrate your birthday! I'm sure that it will be grand!!
