The second floor is where the lobby is located so you can bypass the elevators if you have a room on the 2nd floor. Another option is the 5th floor, it is not a full building lenght floor so not a maze of hallways to navigate from the elevators.we are checking in on 9.11 with a garden view room - any requests i should make for a room? We've never been to Boardwalk before . .it's myself and husband and our 12 year old and 5 year old.

My kids didn’t find it to be scary at all! It’s a great slide!! Right now it’s their 2nd favorite slide after GF!

We don't even "see" the clown any more! For someone so young - there are play areas off to the side for your daughter to play in - also she can stay nearer the steps in the shallow area away from the clown.....
In the afternoon, there are kid entertainers that may also draw her attention.
We are staying at the BWV during the Jan marathon. On that Sunday, I hear the walking path to HS is closed. Is boat our only option to get to Hollywood Studios and realistically how much time should we allocate if we want to t be there about 30/40 mins before opening?
We flew down for AP SWGE preview and we had a one night booked for BWI - garden view. I looked early in the morning on the view charges in MDE before we got to Orlando to see if we had the $100 charged and it showed taxes and stuff for Club level. I said to my husband that I thought maybe we were upgraded, because I wasn't quite sure what I was reading. I can't remember us ever being upgraded before except for one time when they had to take our unit out of inventory due to a plumbing issue. We were pretty excited.
We arrived and they escorted us to the club level room and had breakfast, but our room wasn't ready. The CM said.. Oh you have a good room. Again we were clueless, smiled and said thank you. We ended up Outer Garden Club level which was 2 story with a balcony upstairs. It was absolutely beautiful. What special gift. We had no issues, I made no requests, and it was there during the night, so it wasn't that they liked our faces. I see people ask how do I get an upgrade and I think it is just luck of the draw. We have been many, many times, never asked for anything we didn't pay for and it was just our time. We felt very blessed.
Here is the downstairs:

No, they are not all inside the InnKeepers Door.
Remember though, this is a request in and of itself. Even rooms outside the door are a close walk. Some of the ones inside the door are a further walk, for that matter.
Some are. Some aren't. I'm pretty sure that all 4th floor Deluxe rooms are inside the door. The rooms are mixed around. Best advice I give anyone is use the Tour Plans room finder. The Deluxe rooms are correctly indicated on it.Angi, so none of the Deluxe CL rooms are within the Innkeepers Lounge? I know some are located on the 3 floor, but how far are the Deluxe CL rooms from the lounge? Thanks!
Has anyone stayed in BWI Club Level with a Boardwalk view? Are these rooms "behind the door" to the lounge or are they a far walk? Trying to figure out the best room request.
There are 4 Deluxe CL rooms located within the Inn Keepers Club doors. 1 (4255) is right across from the CL reception desk and 3 rooms (4225-4227-4229) are very close to the lounge (about 2-3 rooms from the lounge).Angi, so none of the Deluxe CL rooms are within the Innkeepers Lounge? Thank you, mickeynut1 and sfbank. Everyone was very kind. It was amazing!
