I can't believe I forgot to say this earlier. You can only purchase physical gift cards with gift cards loaded to the Walmart wallet. You cannot purchase digital gift cards. I purchase them online and have them shipped to my home. I've never tried to do it in store. I am able to checkout with two $100 physical gift cards in my basket. I do not know it it is possible to purchase more in a single transaction, but Walmart only lets you load 5 gift cards at a time.

ETA - I've also seen posts that you can purchase digital gift cards using gift cards stored in the Walmart wallet, but only if the total amount of your purchase is greater than the total of the gift cards being applied. I haven't tried this, though. I may give it a shot with the sale tonight.

It is crazy how they set the limits.

I'm reading several sites and they are just as confused. Sam's did a real bad job promoting this offer. As soon as people chatted with them, CS. should have taken control and fixed the Amount 190/180 and the time 9am/9pm ET.
