Package at POR starting 9/2 (6 day tix, DLX Dining) ... NO INVITE & NO Access via the
MDE menu's.
Added RO at POP 8/31 & 9/1 this AM.
Immediately had access to customize MB & select FP+, for entire length of stay.
FP+ was somewhat limited (9/2 - 9/8) .. all the "headliners" were there for each park, but no parades or fireworks.
Was able to do a FP+ lunch ressie for BOG (just one.. tried to add another lunch and could only replace previous one). this was IN ADDITION to the 3 FP+ for my park for that day. The BOG ressie is NOT showing up in the MDE "my reservations" link.. but it's there when I go directly to the BOG reservation site. They are disconnected, just as previously reported here.
We may/may not need the 8/31 RO, so I will very likely be cancelling that (up to 5 days prior for full refund).
I've done pre-check in for POR, but not POP. Literally, as soon as I booked POP, the next screen I clicked on was the My Disney Experience Dropdown ->MagicBands and I was able to customize. I next went straight to FP+ and was able to select FP for my entire length of stay (both reservations.. they were automatically linked).
I should still be able to use my MB, FP+, reservations for the POR stay, even if I completely cancel POP... my bands are coming to my home.
Interesting thing.. my package ressie had "letters" in in, therefore couldn't use the confirmation to book BOG lunch. The RO ressie is numbers only, therefore, I used that to book that reservation.
