Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

I'm Sept. 4 at the Contemporary, and I have access to FP+ and band customization today! Been checking everyday, and it just allowed me access to that section this morning for the first time. I'm 22 days out from check in, and have park tickets added on MDE (convention tickets, not a MYW package). Haven't done online check in yet.

I was able to customize our bands, and have selected FP+ for each day (although there weren't many choices/times available). Didn't see any options to book fireworks viewing, which I was hoping for one day, but I'll keep checking. I haven't received an invitation email from Disney yet, but hopefully this all works out! It confirmed my shipping address for the bands, so it looks like they're planning to send them before I leave.

Not sure how this will go, but I'm glad to have the chance to test it out!

I'm really crossing my fingers, but I'm staying in Villas Wilderness Lodge, so I'm not holding out much hope. Doesn't seem like the Villas get many testing opportunities.

For those of you that are able to do the FastPass+ selections now for September, did you do early online checkin?

Does anyone know if that is a requirement for being able to "activate" customizing the magicbands and selecting fastpass+ selections? Assuming of course your resort is eligible etc etc

We weren't going to do online checkin unless it is needed....

We have NOT yet done online check in and I was playing with FP+ and now I can customize the MB!

we will be stay at POR Sept 2-8 and no email and not able to do any fastpasses. But being that it is POR I am not expecting that we will be doing it.

Me too. We'll be at ASSp. We were hoping for Magic Bands, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

We are 25 days out. Staying 9/7 at POP. No email but just checked mydisneyexperience.com and I can now select the colors for Magic Bands and FB+! Says they are shipping soon!

I made Fastpass+ selections this morning, but it seemed like the options were much more limited than they had been with previous testing. For example:

No Enchanted Tales with Belle
No parades or fireworks options

Also, did not get the "extra" Pirates Fastpass that people were getting on MK days.

Anyone else have these experiences?

Not sure what days you're trying for but for the August testing fireworks and parades were only available Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

I'm 18 days out to CSR check-in. I got FP+ access last night, but only beginning Sept 3-11, when I switch to AKL and then WL. Made most of my FP+ selections last night. I was not able to customize/order Magic Band until this morning. Now I have FP+ and Magic Band from 9/3 through the rest of my stay.

For those who may be wondering:
My arrival date is 8/31 at CSR w/10-day PHWF&M ticket (MYW pkg booked through Disney). FP+/MB is NOT part of this pkg (so far).

I booked my AKL & WL room only reservations through Travelocity. So it apparently doesn't matter who you book through. Only what resort you are staying at.

I check in 9-14. Guess I need to wait a few more days to see if anything changes and if they add WL.
To be brutally honest, if I can't use FP+ selections for parades and/or fireworks (since it looks like that is only offered on Fri and Sat) I will probably opt out. Although I do really want to experience magic bands.

Did everyone here who can now access FP+ for September receive an email from Disney asking if they would like to participate?

I'm part of the August test and didn't receive any emails to try the new system even though I've been able to personalize bands and order 10 days of FP+s. I would recommend keeping trying rather than waiting for an official invitation.

We live in Canada so not sure if that has anything to do with it?

Also, just tried to access FP+ for a friend and was not able to.
