Here now, crowds and FP+, wow!

It sounds like Disney's 20-30% off room promotion from earlier this year was successful. I was there a few weeks ago on this promo and it did seen more crowded than normal.

    FastPass+ Discoveries!

If you're on an iPad, you can bring up the Fastpass+ site in Safari and check the available times of an attraction before you make the switch. And a few weeks ago, I saw a lot of people porting iPads around the MK.

Tusker House of Yak & Yeti?

Tusker House is mine and my wife's favorite restaurant on property, so that's my answer. I've been to Y&Y once, and probably won't go back as it's not much different than an average Chinese meal I can get anywhere.

    Ohana bread pudding

Our table was brought another serving without us even requesting it!

    Bog

No, but IMO the desserts at BOG are not worth the standby line wait.

Anna and Elsa are also in the 3 pm parade on one of the first floats.

Little Mermaid...do you need a fast pass

We walked on at 9:15 this morning - stated wait time of 20 minutes. Felt like it took that long to walk the queue! At noon the wait was 50 minutes but I couldn't see anybody in line in the outside area.

Confessions of a FP+ Kiosk Newbie

Slots open up all the time. I booked a fourth FP for Star Tours on Sunday for 7:00 and checked back a few times after and was able to move it to 1:50. Same thing in the MK. Just grab whatever as your fourth and change it "on the go."

Confessions of a FP+ Kiosk Newbie

This was for the fourth FP+. I didn't want to stand around with the CM looking when I could do so with my phone right after.

Confessions of a FP+ Kiosk Newbie

I walked right up to the Fantasyland FP+ station today around 3pm with no line. I just chose whatever ride - didn't matter. After that, used the app on my phone to surf for better options. One thing I've noticed is that the times for passes are random - if there's none that suit you, check back...

    Crowds this week?

I'm here now and it definitely seems more crowded than it should be for this time of year.

    It's official, Ohana menu change

Ate there Friday night (May 2) - chicken was still available both on skewers and wings.

We had a fast pass this morning for 9:25 and the whole experience including meeting both Anna and Elsa and the visiting princess Aurora was 15 minutes.

What Disney restaurants have you been to more then once/

Our family have repeated restaurants - usually try to not do more than one or two repeats for each trip. Magic Kingdom: Repeats are usually counter service (Pecos Bill, Cosmic Ray's). Depending on schedule, we may repeat Columbia Harbor House in a couple of weeks. Epcot: I like to have half...

First haircut at barbershop in MK :)

It was more fun for myself and my wife than it was my 1-year-old at the time. The cut itself only took 10 minutes, so I decided to hop in the chair after for a trim as well! The "first haircut" mouse-ears that my daughter received are still worn by her around the house occasionally.

    Do You Rope Drop?

We've done rope drop twice (once at MK and at HS), and to me it's not worth it. But then again, I've been to WDW eight times now (nine this May), so getting to the big attractions is not as important anymore.

May Park Hours Seem Short for May 5-10

That's how I see it too. I've got a trip booked for that week because of the low-to-medium crowd prediction. You won't spend two hours in line for a ride... hopefully!

    Barber shop reservation

I made an appointment for my 15-month-old daughter about two weeks before we went, over President's Day weekend. Wasn't any trouble. While we were there, I even got a haircut.
