You're NOT alone:rolleyes1 maybe THAT is why I have Mike do the shopping:rotfl:

Thanks! And he had 7 children, well I mean Mom had the kids. They are the real superheros!

He got transferred to Daytona beach in 1963 and we moved back to New York in 1969. Love my dad and could brag about him all day, he is very smart and creative.

DznyFan----everytime you talk about Erin and her talent makes me want so badly to see her perform. I can't wait until she's on that stage in WDW!!!!!!
Linda----I'm glad you liked Shrek3-----I can't wait to see it, however I have no idea when I'll be able to sneak away to actually go. Maybe next weekend.

I read that to Kenny and he's been going around repeating you all morning:lmao:
I can't wait to see Erin on stage at wdw either!!! I could handle cereal at OKW too:woohoo: whatever it takes to get there! I could even go back and eat ramen noodles for lunch if I had too;)
Kenny has been talking about Shrek nonstop now....it was pretty cute! Kenny loves to immitate the cat and his big eyes:flower3: he tries that to get his way all the time:rotfl:
He asked me to go look in the garage for a blue 4 wheeler b/c he prayed for one last night:cloud9: what am I gonna do w/him!!!

2xcited...It was you mentioning out of town guests? I must chime in.........I really don't think a tent would be a good idea even with the Wishes CD. I'm mean who would really sleep in a tent? :lmao: :lmao: I think your company would perfer something a little more royal....................

Good morning Linda, Pozey... and Donna thanks for the the delicious cinnamon roll!

Underdog...a belated Happy Birthday to your dad!:bday:

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Lesa- Did Brittany pull all the weeds??? :teeth:

Ashley- That's good Ruby's doing better!

Happy Sunday everyone! I talked to Emma on the phone a little while ago... I'm not really sure what she said but it was so cute to hear her going on and on. My granparents have a barn cat that had kittens and they let Emma bring one in the house, my mom said she has it wrapped up in her blankie like a baby. So cute! They are coming back either tomorrow or Tuesday, unless something changes before then. I miss her so much!!

We had a great day at Worlds of Fun yesterday, despite the worst customer service EVER. I was overcharged for lunch - dude didn't know a kid's meal comes with a drink and charged an extra $4 for the drink, even though it came in the kid's cup! - and when I pointed it out, he just re-rang everything and gave me the new total... even though I had ALREADY PAID. D'oh! He tried this twice, even after I explained that I needed a refund first. Finally someone came over and fixed it, but he still had no idea what just happened. I just kept telling Lyzzie, "Stay in school!"

Lyzzie said yesterday was her "brave day"... and it sure was! She did 2 rollercoasters, and the Detonator, which is one of those TOT-type rides where it shoots you up in the air on a big tower and then goes down and up a few times. She LOVED it! She said "after that, TOT will be easy peasy lemon squeezy!" Now she wants to go back today and try the upside-down coasters... um.... no. I'd actually love to, but it's hot and I'm tired. I'm trying hard to catch up on laundry today, and we might go check out the Toy & Miniature Museum.

There were a lot of things I wanted to comment on, but I've forgotten most of them!!

Has NOBODY gotten my Photopass pictures? I know I sent them, maybe the site isn't working correctly? Now that I think about it, I haven't gotten the copy that they usually send either. But I did get the confirmation screen that says the pics have been shared. Darn it - sometimes I hate technology.

I saw the last minute of Funniest Home Videos - I was wondering why the Mouses were dancing around with everyone. That would be such an awesome prize!! I did see the pug and thought of Ruby. Glad she's feeling better!

I love how you guys all put the kids to work! I have a hard enough time just getting Lyzzie to gather up her own laundry. She's at that whiny age... doesn't that last from about 3 to 26? *sigh*

I think we're going to return all that extra stuff we got for Oreo's cage. He loves the wheel but it spills his poop all over the end table his cage is on... ick! And he hasn't used the other tubes/outhouse yet. I'd rather just spend the $$ on a new cage that has enclosed sides to contain the smell. For such a little critter, he sure stinks up the house! Actually I'd rather save the $$ for the WDW fund - I'm already thinking Sept. can't come fast enough! There's nothing quite like a badly-run rinky-dink amusement park to make you miss and appreciate all that Disney does so well.

Good afternoon my computer friends.:)

I think the weeds did wonders for Brittany's attitude, at least for now. She pulled weeds for 4 1/2 hours yesterday nonstop. Plenty of time to think.;) :lmao: Her friends kept calling yesterday asking her if she was still pulling weeds.:rotfl2: I know they really think I'm a mean mom now.:lmao:

Dznyfan....Brittany will get really sweet when she had done something wrong only after she has lost privileges and tell me how sorry she is. When I tell her I accept her apology but the punishment sticks, out come the devil.:scared: She will do this over and over before she gets the idea to shut her mouth.

Today is much cooler than yesterday. Dh and I did part of a brick boarder before it started to rain and when I came in I found how burnt my back was. OUCH!:guilty:

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Hello everyone!!

I haven't had much time to post lately but I have been following all the goings on:cool1:

We got a lot done this weekend. Blake installed 2 new screen doors, which is a major pain since nothing in this house is level or apparently a normal size!!
He did the side door yesterday and it took him over 5 hours!! Today he did the back door. He must have learned a lot yesterday...this one only took 2 hours. We also put up a gazebo over the deck.

Briana worked all day yesterday so I got to spend it playing with Lilly. She has such personality. Her favorite thing is to lay on the floor and talk up a storm.princess:

We had our excitement for the day earlier....Matt and I were on the porch and were just turning to come back in the house when an SUV pulled up in front of the house across the street. The lady was holding up her hand, like wait a minute. Matt looks at me and says 'who's that?' My response as she is getting out...."spiderman!" Yep this woman looks to be about my age and is dressed in a Spiderman costume!!:charac4:

I looked and her and just said...Ok I give up:confused3 She explained that her mom lives behind us and is having a birthday party for her nephew, but if she parks on that street he will recognize her car. She wants to go thru our yard and over the fence. Sure, have at it:rotfl2: She goes back to her car to get her mask and a can of silly string. Blake and the boys run upstairs to Matt's window to watch the whole thing. Then a few minutes later she comes back thru the yard again and drives off in her car. Too funny!!!

Have a great day

Oh my goodness, Lesa----

I completely forgot to tell you that the other day at work I was with a client and one on my co-workers was with a client as well right next to me. We were both doing brows and I don't know how we all got on the subject of sewing-----well------I just couldn't resist sharing your Barbie sewing story. :lmao: :lmao: Let me tell you, it was a HIT!!!!!!!:rotfl2: I promise I didn't name names----just said "one of my friends".:rotfl: I'm cracking up just thinking about it.

I wonder what he would have done if there was a RED one in the garage??:confused3 ;)
Not too specific, huh?? That Kenny!!! I think we need to start a sitcom with all of the Cliqueless Kids.

YM----yeah, I'll get right on that. I guess the tents could be the servant's quarters. :teeth:
Feel better, sista.

Hi Nicole!!!! Just wondering----have you ever had a Mojito??

Lyzziesmom----I'm sure you are looking forward to Emma coming home, but it sounds like she is having fun with her "babies".
More power to Miss Lyzzie----I don't think I'll ever have a day as brave as that.

I've rested enough-----back to work.

that is so awesome UnderDog! Daytona beach would have been really nice too! Sounds like your dad is an incredible guy:cloud9: My dad's family is Irish...my moms is Cherokee Indian and some others I'm not even sure of..what a combination huh:laughing:

I like to joke about being IRISH and I enjoy all that goes with it. I love the research the history of my ancestors. Sounds you have a very rich history. Did you know that during the Famine of 1845-1850 The American Indians “of all people” sent ships full of food and goods to Ireland. But we are all AMERICANS first and that’s pretty cool.:cool1:

YourMajesty - Thanks for the birthday wish to Dad... I'll have to tell him that the royal family was wishing him well. :yay:

Did you tell them it was one of you cyber computer friends?:lmao: :rotfl2: I know, I keep telling myself to put the sunscreen on. I even just bought 4 things of the sunscreen with the new formula in it. :rolleyes1 I am better about putting it on my face now I have to work on the rest of me, especially my back.

Michele, not quite sure what I would do if Spiderman(woman) showed up and wanted to web her way through my yard. I bet it made for a great laugh. Kiss Lilly for me. I bet she is growing like a weed. Only 28 days left.:woohoo:  :cool1: :yay: :cheer2: I bet there will be a lot of shocked faces when all 13 of us hop on that plane.:scared1: :lmao:

Underdog, I'm waiting to read your edit line. You sure know a lot about history and the Beatles.

Hi everyone!! We're back from our sunday at the Shop With A cop Car and Motorcycle Show. We have been there since about 8:15 this morning. Gary wanted to set up his slot car track and charge $1 per person/ each race. All the proceeds went to the SWAC Program. I found out Friday night that I was expected to be there to help, so that kind of messed with what I thought I was going to do today. Oh well, it was for charity, I'll quit complaining now.:rolleyes1

:lmao: Well, Donna, I'll think about you every day I'm there - I'll be missing your breakfasts!! (I hate to have to eat cereal every day in my room at Old Key West...)
You poor thing.....eating your cereal at OKW and suffering so.:snooty: :upsidedow

Donna, Thanks for breakfast! Have we met? Because you always pick my faverate kind of breakfast food. Do you live next door? Do I need to close my blinds?:rotfl:
No, I'm sure we've never met. I've ALWAYS lived in Illinois. I think we must both like breakfast. Somebody else may be peeking in your windows, though.:cool2:
How cool that you come from such a large family with great parents, too!!
I do try to keep up with everybody. This thread can move pretty fast at times.

2x2s:: Humm. A man with a southern accent? Did you just about melt? One year I had car trouble in Macon, Ga. and the service mgr.at the Chrysler dealership had such a smooth southern accent, I just kind of stood there and stared. Gary was with me at the time, too. Rather embarrasing......(cough cough)
I've been meanng to tell you, yes, it was me asking about the daybed. Thank you for the suggestion. I took Nathan's spread off of his twin bed to see if it would work and it does!! I knew that twin sheets would work ok.

Linda:: Oh, that Kenny!!! Maybe he can get a blue 4-wheeler for Christmas or his birthday next year. Shame on Kenny for trying to pull the Big-Eyed Kitty look on you!!! Nathan has one of those looks too!!!

YourMajesty:: You need to get rid of those sinus problems, young lady!!! Sorry you haven't been feeling well.
What wonderful taste in sleeping quarters you have!! Only the best for our Queenie.:)

lyzziesmom:: How cool that Lyzzie has such a good day at Worlds of Fun!! Now she's ready for TOT!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:
I know you miss Emma, but at least the kittens are keeping her entertained.

Lesa:: Take care of that sunburn. I kind of overdid it in the sun today, but I had on capri pants and a short-sleeved shirt=stupid tan lines!!!

Michele:: How strange about your visit from Spiderman/Woman!!!:charac4: woo-hoo!!! I finally got to use that stupid spiderman smilie!!!:woohoo: :teeth:
I'll bet Lilly enjoyed the day playing with you, too.:cutie:

pozey:: Hi!! I know you were having a busy day today!!! I thought of you at the car show today.....the Corvettes you know.;)

I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday.:sunny:

:lmao: :rotfl2: Yeah, life is rough.

Michele - what a funny story!!

Lesa - so at least you get all sweetness and apologies - it just doesn't happen here - she is very strong-willed and when she's mad, she's mad.

So..... poopy day for me today! Today was my pool session day for diving! Yeah, I should be excited. Didn't exactly go the way I'd planned.

Lyzziesmom, PMing you now!

Linda, did I see you said you've got some Cherokee? You've probably got some relatives here!
