I meant to tell you, Madison and I named our GPS (crazy I know) the one in the van was named Bessy. Well she has been trying to come up with a name for the new one. She named it Ruby.

That is hilarious!! I don't think naming GPS is uncommon, when my Grandparents picked us up from the airport they had one, and they named her Betty!!!!

Does anybody know the movie What About Bob?, when Bill Murray's character says "I know that, Betty". It used to be a movie I would watch when I was little, over and over and over. (I did this with several movies, it drove my family crazy and we knew every word to that movie.) Well its a saying we always say in our family and they named her Betty so they could always say "I know that, Betty" to her

Hello!!! Long time no "see"! Things are still crazy and I'm trying really hard to be a little less of a computer addict. Hope all is well with everyone!

Can I ask for a prayer request? If you remember I was having a huge problem with needing to take a test that is given while I'm going to be on my cruise. They were being pretty mean about it and I couldn't get anyone to understand why I needed to test on the Monday makeup exam that is for active military and those who practice a religion where Saturday is the Sabbath. Well, the teacher that I want to work with emailed my yesterday telling me that the district won't budge but her and the principle want me for the school. Long story short I spent 6 hours today calling and talking to different people and finally one lady told me to send in a letter with my registration form explaining why I needed to take the makeup test, and it had to post-marked TODAY! This was at 2:00, I called the high school and Dr. Farish wrote me a letter as well stating that they would hold the position until the scores from the June test were in unless they won't let me take in, in whichcase it will be released to the public again. So, I picked it up, rushed through the registration form and got it to the post office just after they closed, but too bad for them someone was leaving so I waltzed in and begged the guy to just postmark the envelope which he finally did. So, can we all pray that they agree to let me take the make-up test on June 18th so I can get a job! Please add it to your prayer list if you see fit!!!

I don't have much actually planned for today, just a lot of little things that I need to take care of. It would be a great day to start doing a little something with our landscaping and some general sprucing up of the outside of the house. I really wish I could hire a professional landscaper to handle all of this, but that would take from the Vacation Fund.

Ashley-Good luck at Ruby's appt. More news about Yao- It was just him and his DGF that came in. She is a basketball player in China. She only wanted a 2/3 of a carat sized ring, and he was really upset about it. He wanted to buy her a bigger ring but that's what she wanted. He spent $3000 on it. He apologized to everyone about it when they left. My sister said it looked small on her big hand!

My week has been, let's see, how I shall put this.....wierd. I have been sooooo overly tired lately. I feel like I've been doing little things here and there but getting pooped quickly.
To my defense, though, I did try to check in the other night and couldn't get on the DIS------how dare they!!!!


I am scrambling to get my house organized still-----time's a tickin'. You see, I'm having out-of-town company coming in two weeks and my spare bedroom is being used as storage right now. Unacceptable!!!


I ran to Target this morning and picked up some storage containers-----now I just need someone to help me lug them downstairs. (remember I loathe my basement?? )

I've come to the conclusion that I don't need anymore books or CDs-----I have PLENTY!!!! So, if I say that I made one more purchase of the above said items, you have my permission to SCREAM AT ME!!!




Betts----Nope, no sneaking off to WDW without you!!! Ahhh, beignets!!! I'm getting all sentimental now. haha.
I think you had asked a while back, if my memory serves me, about daybeds and special bedding???? If it was you, I just use regular twin sets. They work just fine. If this wasn't you, I apologize, and please ignore.

Brittany and I have been through the whole what can happen to 12 year old girls so much that I sound like a broken record. I think her 12 year old brain has lost it's ability to use common sense and "use good thinking" which is what I tell the girls every time they leave the house. She had wanted to go to see Shrek with her friends but ended up grounded. She had to stay home by herself while David and I went out for our Anniversary dinner and Madison went with her friend to see Shrek. She was not a happy camper.

Hi 2x2.....Don't you hate organizing! The accident happened back in March right outside the hospital parking lot. Unfortunately I don't think the cop would get in the middle of it. I am going to call the secretary of state about his driving and I am going to talk to my lawyer before I turn it into my insurance, but I think ultimately I am going to have to turn it in. "Oh well, what can you do" still trying some of Linda's positive thinking!

Dh and I went to a few garage sales this morning, we bought a bunch of books and a few other things. Got me some great deals.

One quick funny story before I go. Almost every day the peeping boys behind us come running over to ask if Madison wants to jump on the trampoline. Well yesterday she had Brownies so when they came over I told them it would be a while before she got home. So when I went to get Maddie they were sitting on the corner waiting for her on their bikes. About 20 minutes later we get home and they are still sitting on the corner and when they see us they start cheering "Yeah Maddie's home, does she want to jump now"?
