Photo downloads with LLPP

I see that we get digital downloads of ride photos with the LLPP (or the LLMP). Can someone explain the process to me, a technology-anxious person who has never gotten ride photos? My MB and my kids' MBs are the originals from 2014, so the batteries are long dead (meaning they work for everything but photos) but my husband will be using his phone for his ticket and LLPP. He has the app, which we use to sign into my account, which everyone is linked to.

How can he get our ride photos, and then what do we do to keep them? Googling did not provide me with step-by-step instructions to give him. Is it possible for him to get photos for us if he does not ride? Is this limited to when we use the LLPP, for example if we rode Buzz twice?

For attractions that have an option to tap the photos you can do that.
Also as long as bluetooth is on the phone usually picks them up.
If you notice one missing you can contact Disney or go to the photo center to give them a description of the ride, time, and clothing and they can usually find it.

They are digital downloads.
You download them onto your phone and then you can share them print them etc.

Is it possible for him to get photos for us if he does not ride?

If there is a tap point for photos, he will get your photos if each person taps their MB.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, if there is no tap point, you would need to carry his phone with you so that the bluetooth can pick up your photo. And depending on how many people are in each photo (for instance, on Tiana, it would pick up the entire log, whereas for some other rides it would pick up fewer), some might be left out if they are in a different compartment from the person carrying his phone.
