Yeah, I've been there too. First I said "no way" because we're going in early Aug for 9 days. Then I started playing with it in the back of my mind. Now I'm booked for a second trip a month after we get back from the first and I know it's totally reckless and irresponsible and I JUST DON'T CARE!
It isn't my fault. It's a syndrome.
Hey I have that syndrome too!
Ashley: I would think it would be easier to just call Disney yourself to make reservations, that way you are in control of your own vacation. I've never worked with a TA, do you have to pay them on top of your trip cost? I guess being that I've done WDW before, I just don't see the advantage of using a TA, but I can see how they'd be helpful for someone who's never been. It can be quite overwhelming! Jeremiah's limit is 7 days? That's crazy!! My dad said the same thing, but it was because he didn't want to take more than 5 days off of work. Once I showed him the calendar he was on board with 10 days because we will leave for WDW on a Friday after work, stay through the weekend, then Labor Day is a holiday so we are only missing 4 days of work, then the following Sunday we come home. That's exactly what we did last year and it was perfect -- low crowds, free food, plenty of time to relax and lots of FUN!
Michele...I didn't didn't bake the Easter cake(googled). I made some pretty yellow cupcakes.
We made pink cupcakes last week and I brought the extras in to work. No way could we eat 24 cupcakes!! (Well we COULD, but then I'd need a new wardrobe.)
Better call it a night before I turn into a pumpkin or book myself a WDW trip or something.
Or something... you are too funny! Darn those late night WDW reservations!
Is this really a "clique'? I'm always talking to myself...
Don't worry, we all talk to ourselves here. (said in my best Cheshire Cat voice)
I've never been in Sept/Oct so I am a little nervous about the heat (June was horrible). I think we may do POP (if available

).
It does get hot in September, and it is still very humid. Nothing like June or July though! It should be better since you're planning on the end of the month. Early September last year just about killed me with the humidity, but then again I've never done well in the humidity, even when I lived there.
Lyzziesmom - it looks like you're going to have a handful on your September trip. If you wind up with all those folks are they going to be self-sufficient, or are you going to wind up playing tour guide all week?
I have no idea how it's going to go. I know I get to play TA and make all the ADRs and do all the planning. I don't expect my brother & his GF to show up on time for anything, because they never do. I have a feeling we will be doing a lot of things separate from each other, but we'll just have to see how it goes. My folks want to kind of take it easy, but that's not really my style, so I figure I will do minimal planning -- just ADR's and plan on which park/which day, and take it from there. I know I will be in the parks, as long as everyone shows up for meals I'm ok with splitting up the rest of the time. I must admit though, I'm pretty nervous about this turning into such an "event!"

I stopped in and posted my 2 cents!
Did anyone watch "Thank God You're Here" last night? I caught the 2nd episode and it was pretty funny! I am a sucker for cheesy television, plus I like that it's something else the whole family can watch. If you haven't heard of it, you should try to see it, it's hard to explain. They have a few "celebrities" and each of them gets a costume and then opens a door on a live stage, and must walk in and act in a scene. The trick is, they have NO IDEA what the scene is going to be so they have to improv their way through it, and it was pretty hilarious at times. Highly recommended for good silly fun! I just kept thinking, "Man there is no way I could be that clever."
Well, I've got some work to do and some ADRs to plan! I think I might call and see if I can switch resorts for our trip next month. We are at ASMu for both the May and the Sept. trip, and I'm not sure I want to do the same resort twice in a row. We did that last year at Pop and it almost felt like it was the same trip all over again. I think I will see if we can switch to ASMo for next month - we stayed there a couple years ago and it was really fun. I'm thinking it might be booked up though, since the ASMu pool is closed I imagine a lot of people are switching.
