Paint The Night … when will it be ending

I believe the reason there is no daytime parade right now is because PTN and Christmas Fantasy are being stored on property backstage. I think there's only room for 2, which is a decrease in space since GE and MMRR opened. During the 60th, I distinctly remember Mickey's Soundsational running during the day and PTN at night and Christmas Fantasy during the holidays.

So it is possible to have the Christmas parade during the afternoon with PNT?

I believe so but maybe my memory is off. For Christmas Fantasy, they've usually done one mid afternoon and late afternoon. It gets dark around 5:00 in December, so most of the second parade is in the dark. I guess we will have to wait and see. I'm assuming holiday announcements are not far off.

Yes you are right like a 230/245 and a 445/5pm! Thanks! And then PNT at 845/9 and 1045pm!

Not saying they can't but I want to point out they did loose some space in the back stage area because of Mickey and Minnies ride

I've seen it used as an excuse on why they dont run two parades is because of space but could also just be budget

Anyway not saying we wont have both at the Holidays and excited to see PTN with all the lights up

It is very possible that they no longer have the space for 2 parades. Everything I have seen/heard/read say they do. But I have no first hand insider knowledge.

When has he been wrong? Totally not saying this to call you out, please don't take it that way, I just honestly can't think of a time he hasn't had it right.
In this particular post, Scott claims that WOC Happiness will "run entire 70th," yet the Disneyland website says that WOC Season of Light will run from Nov 14 - Jan 7. Are they going to run two versions of WOC at the same time?

Also, there is no Tapestry of Magic. It is called Tapestry of Happiness.

Better Together is pausing on August 4, not Aug 22.
Celebrate Happy Cavalcade is pausing on August 11, not Aug 22.

It is possible. If there is room then they should have had the Magic Happens Parade in the afternoon. I think it is about money and the budgets.
I do agree with this. If there is room, they should have moved Christmas Fantasy offsite for the summer, brought back Magic Happens, then paused in Sept-Oct to swap out Magic Happens and Christmas Fantasy. I know it's negative, but I do think cost cutting was the reason Magic Happens was not shown this summer. They didn't have to pay for the performers and the cost of moving the parades back and forth.

Great points! DL has a history of "cost cutting" in the Aug-Sept timeframe and ending performances of summer entertainment earlier than scheduled. Sept 30 is the end of the fiscal year. I am eager to see if Better Together truly returns after Lunar New Year...I am skeptical.

Not so much cost cutting but they will be constructing Coco in the area where the parade barn is located. Some have speculated that they will be moving the barn to a new location in the DCA backlot.

Lunar New Year is more of a processional with a single Mulan/Chip & Dale float. I'm wondering if it will run during the construction.

If anyone could find instances...only you could @LKing !!

So I am thinking...they will have PTN nightly packages at Plaza starting in November - new menu...holiday dessert too. The 70th tour will continue as well.with their area for PTN...
There will be no package for the Christmas Parade except for the Vip tour guests who will get the seats in chairs.

I’ve seen better parades at Six Flags than “Better Together.” Hopefully a replacement is in the works…

I wonder if they could operate PTN from DCA during the Holiday season? Probably not as I believe construction for Coco is starting soon…
