Happy Easter everyone!!

Did anybody hear that they are 'planning' to release free dining this week? I got this info from Mousesavers.com Supposedly, they are opening up reservations tomorrow for Visa card members and to the general public Thursday for the check in dates of 8/26/07-9/22/07. :cool1: I think we're planning on going Sept 7-14. ETA, I think we may be thinking of 14-21. Jeremiah's pass expires the 22 of September though!

Too bad I don't have a Disney Visa :badpc: Last year I had a travel agent from the Mouseforless handle my ressie but I wasn't really happy with her service, so I think I'll be handling that on my own. I do already have my dining reservations so thats good. Lets hope Mousesavers is right!

Lyzziesmom, I would have left too! That is horrible, to have that showing where there are little kids. I would be furious. I saw that in the movie theater when it came out and it was alittle too much for me:rolleyes1 Glad you guys enjoyed your Easter nontheless!!

We didn't do anything all day!! We lounged around and did some laundry, then took a long nap! Now we're hungry and I don't think anywhere is open :rolleyes1

This weekend went by way too quickly!!!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!! I just finished feeding the guys. Gary had leftovers from dinner and Nathan wanted hotdogs!!

2x2s:: It was good to hear from you. Hopefully you'll hear something from your insurance soon. Maybe tomorrow will be the day.:grouphug:

Michele:: I noticed right away that Bree wasn't the shortest girl in the picture!! How cool that she gets to mingle with the Pistons!!

YourMajesty:: Thank you for the wonderful Easter cake. It was awesome!!

lyzziesmom:: I'm speechless about your church experience!!! I would definitely have left, too!! Showing that movie without prior knowledge just isn't right!!:sad2:

Dznyfan:: What a stressful weekend you had!! I would have been absolutely LIVID!!! I'm relieved the kids made it home safely....eventually!! I hope Erin's knee gets better soon. This weekend didn't do much for the sleep, mood and stress problems did it??

Linda:: How sweet of Kenny to wait for you to get up!!! Ahhh what a sweetie!!

Well, Happy Easter to all and enjoy your evening!!! :wave2:

Hi everyone!

Dznyfan- I would have been so angry! I'm glad they finally amde it back and I hope Erin's knee feels better!

Lyzziesmom- I would have left too. That movie is so not for kids.

I hope everyone had a great Easter!

I'm about to go watch some tv and head to bed, but I just had to comment on Ashley's announcement about Free Dining!! I really hope that's correct! My dad has a Disney Visa but never uses it, he just got it to get $25 off buying tshirts online for our trip during Free Dining last year. Ashley, I remember your travel agent problems! It's crazy, but I just might end up making reservations for a September trip before I even go on the next one! As you all know, my parents have expressed interest in going again - I just called my mom to give her the heads-up on the rumor and she seemed mildly interested so who knows. I'll be there either way, with or without them! Of course they think I'm crazy but that's old news. ;)

Before I sign off, I'm going to leave you with 2 cute Emma stories from yesterday. (2x, you might want to skip this part, I know how squeamish you can get ;).) After changing Emma's diaper yesterday, she wanted to see the contents so I showed it to her. I wasn't sure if she could see because of course I was holding it carefully so as to keep the contents, ... contained, so I asked her, "Can you see it? What does it look like?" Her answer: "It looks like a big boogie!" I'll never look at snot the same again. Later, at the dinner table, Emma made a certain noise that is not appropriate at dinner. She held up her hand palm-out as if she were stopping traffic, and announced loudly, "It's ok! That noise you hear was just gas. From my butt!"

Goodnight all, I hope everyone had a great Easter holiday.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!:goodvibes

Just thought I'd pop in... Since this is the only "clique" I'm in. Sort of:rotfl:

Good morning, Crew!!! I hope you all had a Happy Easter. Nathan is off of school again today and goes back tomorrow. How about an omelet this morning; if anybody is hungry!!!

I hope everyone has a Magical Monday!!!

Good morning everyone!

I'm back in town finally. I helped my husband drive to his new job this weekend-- all the way to West Virginia. Boy is that a drive! But, we made it safely and saw some beautiful country! I spent all day yesterday in airplanes and airports. In fact, I spent 3 hours in Cleveland airport waiting for my connecting plane.

Oh well, Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! My plans today are to pack and pack and pack.:) I'll try to pop on later once kiddo is at school and catch up on all the news I missed. Have a great day!

Good Morning everyone.

How was everyone’s Easter? Did everyone have a great day?

We had a nice time at the pozey household. DW was a little under the weather, so we didn’t go to church. Instead, I made waffles and sausage for breakfast. The kids enjoyed their gifts from the Easter bunny……both boys got a gift certificate from Best Buy, and Courts got a cool Easter basket with a stuffed bunny inside.

About 2:00 p.m., I grilled some hamburgers and hot dogs and made some baked beans. I made enough for the whole cliqueless crew, but nobody showed. But then, I forgot to send the invitations. Anyway, there are plenty of leftovers, so please help yourself.

After eating, I went out and hit some Easter eggs for the kids to hunt. I tried not to hide them too difficult, and I must have succeeded……they found them all pretty quickly. Colton and Chase wanted me to hide some a little harder. So, we went again. This time it took them a little longer. And we almost “lost” a few. But they eventually found them.

About 5:00 p.m., I asked Chase if he wanted to go to the batting cages to hit some baseballs. But when we got there, they were closed. So we went to a baseball field and I hit some balls to him and pitched to him for a little while.

We came back home and just rested the rest of the evening.

It was a very good day.

Oh, man.... what a night - venting ahead.... sorry guys.

I was going to post last night in the middle of the stress, but I didn't.

Our Jazz choir kiddos have been in Colorado since Wednesday at a Music Festival. They also went skiing and snowboarding. The were supposed to leave at 6:00 a.m. yesterday and be back here around 7:00 last night. We got a call at about 1:00 p.m. - the charter bus had gotten stuck in the snow for a while, then broke down. They weren't a half an hour away from the resort. They were on the side of the road for 5 - 6 hours until almost 3:30 when they got the bus up and running again. They stopped in Denver at about 5:00 for dinner - the first food they'd had all day. Estimated ETA now: 3:00 a.m. give or take. Also learned is that our little snowboarder took a bad spill on the slopes on Friday and the knee was swollen, in an ace bandage, elevated and on ice. Instructions from the clinic at the ski resort: get to the Doctor a.s.a.p.
Around 9:00 p.m., get another call, they've been delayed again because THE BUS CAUGHT ON FIRE! Our director got them off the bus right before it really took to burning. All kids and stuff OK. Poor DD, had to get carried off the bus. According to the charter company that I called and yelled at last night, there was another bus on it's way from Denver (2 hours away still) to pick them up and bring them halfway, and another charter from the original company to meet up with it and transfer the kids AGAIN and bring them in. So, kids not home for Easter morning services and very shook up and upset.
8:00 this morning, still no call and no sign of kiddos. Couldn't get ahold of DD (phone off or battery dead) so I called the director, and he gave an ETA of 9:30 or 10:00 this morning. They got in, tired, traumatized and glad to be home at about 10:00. So -no Easter services for our tired and hungry kiddos.
I was so stressed out last night, and felt so helpless. Vent and story over, but I guarantee the DOT and the charter company are going to get a serious @$$ chewing. They should've sent a replacement bus from Denver the first time the bus broke down - gotten our kids and gotten them home! But the farted around, and wound up with what could have (but thankfully wasn't) a devastating situation - WITH OUR KIDS!

Geez! vent over, back to your Easter festivities. Happy Easter, everyone!
DznyFan,

What a horrible ordeal for both you and the kids. I would hate to have that happen to anyone.

I definitely would be calling the charter company and letting them have it. Big time!

Good morning, ladies and gent!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter, ours was a little, well.... off.

Lesa - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!ok, I found it really odd that your mom would send a card POSTAGE DUE?!?! :confused3

Lyzziesmom - Emma's latest are hilarious... gas - from my butt! :lmao:
Yeah, I think what the church you attended did was very inappropriate. You did what you had to do, and I agree, you made the right decision. The girls don't need to see that at their ages.

Lesa and YM - oh spring allergies are definitely here and bad, arent they? Hope all the kids get to feeling better soon.

Hope everybody has a happy Monday! I'll check in later. :goodvibes

Hey, Pozey, between your leftovers and all ours, we've definitely got enough to feed the cliqueless!!!
Glad you had a good Easter - hope DW gets to feeling better soon.

Hey, I'm meeting Loretta Engler from Dive Tulsa next Monday night at her home - I'll give you a wave! :wave2:
Cool! I'd wave back, but I probably won't be home. We have our first baseball game of the year next Monday (the 16th).

You'll have to let me know when you'll be doing your dive training.

Also.......please keep in mind, my house is NOT the unkept house directly across the street from Loretta's. That's my lovely neighbor with the broken retaining wall and the unmowed yard! :rotfl:

Hello all!!

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter.

DznyFan...I can't even imagine what you were going thru. What that bus company put those kids through is hateful!!!

The basement is pretty much done. Now we are waiting for the furniture to be delivered on Thursday. Lilly's crib was finally put up last night and she got to sleep in it. Bree says she only woke up once for about 30 minutes.

Today we start on Lilly's room. I have to spackle a few spots on the wall and ceiling. Right now the trim is all dark green ( the walls are white) so I have to get some Kilz and prime the trim. We are going with yellow with white trim. Luckily Bree still has school this week so Lilly will be at her dad's during the day. So I can get a lot done while she is gone.

Have a great day

Hi Crew! I'm pretty busy today but I just had to share: I just called my Mom to tell her about Free Dining, and she said "Why don't you plan it out, we will discuss dates tonight and you can book it on my Disney Visa tonight?"

YAY!!

Oh I forgot...

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!
party: :bday: party:

I know my mom will show him:cool1:

How exciting!!! 3 trips in one year!! You lucky duck!!

Yay Lyzziesmom!!!:cool1:

I might be able to go during free dining. I priced it out at Disney.com and for 3 nights with 1 day passes it is $423.00!!! We would only go to 1 park and just relax and resort hop. This would be a budget trip big time, but I can't pass up free dining! I just need to ask Steven. I hope he says yes!

Ugh...now my trunk has a leak. I think it's connected to when I hit my car because it wasn't leaking before all this. No wonder a few weeks ago I touched the bottom and it was damp and I wondered why. :headache:
