:guilty: I'm sooooo sorry I begged for the snow, guys!! I didn't want ya'll to get hit with it too...... :guilty: It's shaping up to be quite nasty here, too-- Accuweather.com shows up to 6", WMZQ says 4" to 8", and WBIG says 3" to 5". who knows. Dave is working this weekend, so he is taking several meals, a blanket and a change of clothes with him tomorrow, just in case. I'm putting myself in time out, ya'll can heap curses on me all weekend--I deserve it. :sad1:

Oh, Sherry!! I'm so very, very sorry about Junior's restriction!! I hope and pray they can find something for him at the plant. What happens if they don't? I worry about how you are gonna feed those growing boys!!!!

JRKaren, don't be mad at Caroline, she was just tryin' to be nice to me.....sniffle, sniffle......and ...and... I musta begged too hard!!! Do you want me to send you some longjohns? I have a red union suit or the 2-piece in a lovely cream. Your choice! ......grovel,grovel...... After all, gotta keep you warm so you can continue stalking me!!

Amanda, hope you can manage to stay awake all day. Falling asleep at your computer usually leaves a nasty imprint on your cheek from the keyboard, ya know. Sorry you couldn't spend today with your girls, but I bet you will have a great weekend with them!

cheerleader04.gif
I'm soooo proud of you, Karen!! I know giving up the cigarettes is going to be really tough on you, but you CAN do it!! You've got a whole cheerleading squad here to encourage you and you can always call me if you need intervention, too. Go for it and don't give up!! We're all pulling for you!

Elaine, I hope the weather doesn't cancel your party plans for this weekend. Like I said, I'm really sorry the answer to my prayers is affecting so many of you :sad1: Can't believe you managed iced sugar cookies last night AFTER choir practice!! I just don't have the patience for making cutout cookies and then going back to ice them. Even when I have a whole day to do it!!!

WTG, Suzanne on being able to order that Mary Poppins pin! And on winning the shirt, too!! Can't wait to see more pix of the house--I am just so amazed at how fast they can build them these days. Yours is looking great!

Dontcha just feel cut off from the world without phone or internet, Liz?! Whew! So glad you're back up and running!! So, how goes the job hunt? Dave isn't making much progress here, sigh......

Nancy, I hope you don't overdo in getting Christin moved out! I know it's got to be a bittersweet event, for ya, too. All these new furnishings are going to be delivered, now, aren't they? I'd hate to think ya'll were going to be moving it all yourselves!

LOL!!! What is it about Princess Bride that just captures us all?! It was all so corny, but we loved it!!! Amazing, too, is that I can't call up lines of dialogue out of the blue like some of you can, but I can picture the exact scene when I read what you've quoted! Same deal with The Last Starfighter and Spaceballs---May the Schwartz Be With You!!!

Sorry....thought I had already posted an update.

Junior will be on permanent restriction for the rest of his life. :( He goes to the plant today to see if there is any work for him.

Refresh my memory. Was Junior injured at work? If so, he should be able to claim permanent partial disability and get compensation for that.

I too hope and pray that they will find something for him at the plant.

Nancy...you must have just hit a bad PF Chang's. I tried it for the first time a few months ago. I thought it was very good.

Lily...I have this thing about cookies having to be fresh. I will freeze dough if I don't want to bake all of it.

Plans for tonight and tomorrow are cancelled due to snow. Kind of glad because I have a headache and just want to go home and take a nap.

Later all!

Okay, here's the plan:

Elaine freezes some of her cookies and Amanda puts up some wonderful chocolate chip cookies.

Then Lainey swings through Kentucky to pick up the cookies and a cooler, takes them on the cruise, and delivers them to me in Mobile.

Okay, this sounds like a good thing ::yes::

Oh, and since I was asked a while back, Mrs. AA is recovering at home well and doing quite a bit (but not too much).

However, she is not sleeping well and has turned off the phone today to try to get some rest.

Sherry Im so sorry to hear that about Junior. I hope they do find something for him to do--and at a good rate of pay. Im keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for your. Would keep my eyes crossed too but I have to go get my tire fixed.
Its a bad day around here too. Comp still broke, got a HUGE water bill--called the city out to check it out. Problems with my pool--pool company cant come til next week and Connor broke another window in my house (his second).
I need a hot tub and a HUGE vat of margaritas.

Too much yummy food around here today. It all smells so good, and the cube that is holding it all is right across from me... help me please ;)

JRKaren, I want warmth too... just not getting it yet :( I really do understand why so many people move south from here! Oh and I was looking at the CF menu and that orange chicken did look really good to me!

Nancy, good luck today!!! And sorry about PF Chang's. I've been there once and thought it was just okay. Of course some people love some places I totally hate, so at least you were able to try it once :)

Howdy, Lily :wave2: Hi there, Kristy! Enjoy scrapping!

Tom and Cam often use: "It's possible, Pig." :p
Oh how could I forget that one!!! A classic that is often used in the house too :teeth:

Ignoring all speed skating commentaries... however I do have something I need to share with you Kimmie... I got somethign at work just a day or so after I saw a certain pic ;)

Awww Beth... no big deal, really! We get used to snow around here, honestly. If it is less than 6" it won't keep me in the house. I just hope y'all survive it okay.

Amanda, enjoy the now free weekend. Hope the headache goes away soon.

Funny Alan, we almost decided to fly out of Cincy due to the prices to Mobile. We changed our minds, however, when we thought of the possibility of a snow storm coming through and making it a rough drive down there. So we changed our minds. But no cookies for you ;)

Deena, I really do hope your day gets better and that you get everything with the water bill straightened out.

Beth... That's why I never wish for snow ;)
Only thing being delivered is the couch....on Sat.
We're hauling all the rest, but she doesn't really have that much.
Not bad having her move out ;) She was gone for 4 years....now she will be 45 miles away instead of 325....so all is good.

Don't know what to say about P.F.Chang's. Just didin't like it, probably won't try it again. Dave likes it. They order from work occasionally and he has tried them around the country.
It was rather pricey too :(

so....what is the word on Macaroni Grill? That also just opened at the mall.

Deena....sorry about the big water bill....and the broken window :(

Christin is up, so we are off.

 I still don't understand why my signature is turned off so often ....only on this thread

:wave2:

Nancy, actually Macaroni Grill is one place I was thinking of when I said many love it, but I can't stand it. I admit, compared to my favorite Chinese place, PF Chang's was okay, but not as good. I would go there again, but not for *real* Chinese food. So I feel similarly about Macaroni Grill as you seem to with PF Chang. I thought it was over priced and they used *way* too much olive oil on everything I have tried there. One of my friends loved that place so I ate there several times. I refuse to eat there now, I dislike it that much

Hi Ya Yas,

No time for ketchup for me as we're off on our weekend. I'll have a Pina Colada (or two) in your honor!

See y'all Monday. Have a great weekend! :sunny:

In a word....YUMMY!! I have been to 2 here and 1 in Ohio--all excellent! Love the Create-Your-Own Pasta!!

Sorry about the water bill, Deena. We had that one month and come to find out, it was a teeny tiny leak inside the toilet tank. The refill water kept coming on!!

Food!! My favorite topic!!

PF Chang's...love it here!! But I can understand why some people aren't crazy about it. Sorry you don't like it...but then again that is what makes this world so cool!

CF...never been there...not too excited about it...3 hour waits, menus that are novels, not something I can't wait to go to. But I hear people who like it, love it.

Macaroni Grill....love it! The create your own pasta is great as well as the Penne Rustica...mmmmmm..makes me hungry just thinking about it!

Weigh-in went well...I'm down by 8#s!! Woohoo!! Now if I can stay away from all of these places I should be able to get to my goal!

Deena...oh my I'm sorry you are having such a rough day. Connor won't have a college fund if he keeps breaking things! Oh and I was talking to myself the other day!! I figured I was on a roll with my ketchup and identifying the people I was talking to/about!

I complained at work yesterday about Jarrod and his behavior...I threatened to give him away!! So when I got home last night he was like a totally different child! He was an angel last night! :teeth:

Gotta get back to work!

tara

Drive by EOIP my Ya Ya friends... :moped: :moped:
:grouphug: to everyone. Good weekends to all. Even if they are not set up as "fun" ones.
Sunny here right now, but the big one is due in soon. Looks like Friday Date Night will be at home. We could use the R&R. DH is feeling better, but not quite all better.

I have some take home work, so I will probably be on that some of my time.

:teleport: Wish I were back in WDW!

What what what!?!?! :Pinkbounc

Deena, stink on the bad day. :( I hope things begin to look up soon.

Congrats on the weight loss Tara! :bounce:

Have a good weekend, Lily! Glad hubby is feeling better!

Drink one for me Caroline!

Awww... no curses Beth. I bet even the snowbound YaYas still love you!

Time to treadmill...

Tired Ya Ya... I have nothing to do tonight so I am much looking forward to that :)

Enjoy your date night, Lily!!! R&R is very nice a lot of times!

Caroline, enjoy the weekend!

Tara, congrats on your loss! That is great :) And glad that Jarrod began to behave ;)

Howdy Bethie :)

Kimmie, PM on the way... nothing earth shattering, but it amused me all the same.

:wave2:

John, Junior wasn't hurt at work. It was probably brought on by his job, though we have no way of knowing for sure. He goes to the plant today to see if there is any job he can do with his restriction. He has been getting medical pay while he's been out of work. If they have no work, they could put him on disability and he would get disability pay.

Nancy, I've only been to Macaroni Grill once and loved it.

Karen, so glad to hear your quitting smoking. :bounce: Best of luck to you.....I know you can do it!!

Lily, enjoy your night.

Tara, congrats on the weight loss! :bounce:

Deena, sorry to hear about your day. Been there with the broken window. Boys....gotta love 'em, huh? ;) :teeth:

Kristy, enjoy scrapbooking.

Caroline, have a good weekend.

Enjoy your weekend, Amanda.

We're under a winter weather advisory tonight through tomorrow. Expecting 5-10" of snow. Will probably just stay home and watch movies tomorrow.

Here is the bear we got my nephew. He has 4 hearts in him, for his 4 cousins. :) Of course, I am the one that had to spin around, kiss the hearts, and make a wish. :teeth:

OMG!! I forgot!! Karen...congrats on giving up them cancer sticks!! My DB just did it in nov/dec..hit his 50 day mark on monday. But he did it cold turkey! He said it was much easier to do it that way and get past all the cravings. He misses it but he doesn't want his soon-to-be-here-DD either exposed to it or to be left with only one parent b/c he smoked!! Go for it girl!!!

okay...chaperoning a middle school dance tonight  nothing like telling 12 year olds to get their hips away from each other!!!

We are slated for crappy weather tomorrow so I'm hoping the kids will sleep all day so that I can cross stitch!!

I'm sorry that I didn't remember that Junior's injuries didn't happen at work. Even though you would have his disability pay if he can't work, I still hope that they can find something for him to do. It would be better for them and for him. But I guess that I'm stating the obvious. Regardless, I will continue to keep him and the rest of you in my thoughts and prayers.

As far as that snow goes, YIKES!!! Sue is in southern Ohio right now and might be driving home tomorrow. I should underline "might" since it sounds like the whole state is going to be a mess tomorrow. I like your idea of staying inside and watching movies.

Afternoon, all. Sitting here, waiting for a call back to see if we are going to WDW today...the passes haven't arrived. :(

Plugging away at the errors on the credit reports is worth it. Pulled my transunion again yesterday after they fixed the errors and it went up 25 points. Still one error on there to fix, but it won't make much of a difference! Experian and Equifax are the ones with the HUGE mistakes, so it'll be interesting to see how much those change...

Sherry, sorry to hear Junior's on permanent disability. That's rough. Praying that they've got something for him to do at the plant.

Hope all of the Northerners only get a dusting of snow, let it all go out to sea.

Kristy, have fun scrapping.

Tara, lucky you, chaperoning the 12 year olds...that calls for a little something extra in your fruit punch, hee hee!

Gotta go take some more pictures of the house, they've done the electrical, woohoo!

Probably won't be around tomorrow...there's Busch testing at Daytona, and it'll be fun to take the kids while there are cars on the track without plunking down tons of money for the privilege. I have to admit, the first time I saw IROC cars on the track at Daytona, my adrenaline was pumping. That was part of the WDW/see four racetrack honeymoon, lol!

Have a great evening!

Suzanne

OMG, Sherry, that is too too cute of a bear right there! I love it that you did all the spinning and kissing too :teeth:

Tara, good for your DB on quitting!!! Good luck tonight though... I think you'll need it ;)

John, safe travels to Sue tomorrow. I hope she makes it home safely. If she needs a stop ever, she's always welcome here :)

Suzanne, enjoy the day tomorrow. Sounds fun!

I am sleepy... hopefully will wake up soon :p
