Yesterday, I ordered pizza for dinner. Before I went to pick it up, I went to a nearby grocery store for a salad mix to go with the pizza, and a few other items. One of those items was 2 quarts of Pierre’s raspberry sherbet. I mean, it was dark pink in the container, so I assumed it was raspberry, so, being in a hurry, I quickly grabbed the tubs from the frozen foods shelf, and checked out. Tonight, I thought, that sherbet would sure taste good!
As I’m scooping it into the bowl, I see what I thought was vanilla ice cream mixed in the center of the tub (none of this was visible from the outside of the container). It was at this time I read the lid of the container, and read Cherry Lemon Sherbet! I decided since I was stuck with it, I’d go ahead and give it a try. I didn’t care for it, but learned my lesson, that you can’t go by the color of a product, take the time to actually read the packaging!
