I like that the company will take their pictures in the Spring for free. You only buy them if you like them. The company in the fall is a pay first company and they NEVER come out well. I don't even try anymore. One year Hunter's eyes weren't even open![]()
We are a little worried about Amanda. She is moving pretty slow, and she has lost more weight. DH doesn't think she is eating the new food - she preferred the kitten food. The kitten food is bad for her kidneys, but not eating is bad, too! We'll have to watch her and see how she does this week.![]()

Good plan. Hope all goes well. Even if you downgraded, & got 6 day PH's it's still Disney & you'll have just as much fun. MoreI called and changed 2 of my ADRs today. I cancelled both of our "signature" restaurants. We were going to do one OOP and the other with credits, but DS really doesn't enjoy food that much. Going to 2 different signature places wouldn't have been fun for him. AND DH nags him about eating, which makes him eat less. Better to just go to single credit places and not have DS feel pressured. I switched us to Crystal Palace (where we have been at least 5 times for dinner before) and Coral Reef, which will be our 3rd time there. The good thing is that since we are eating inside the parks now we have less logistical stuff to deal with. We'll just go from WL back to the park after our midday break. I am also getting a little skittish about what will happen if I don't have a new job by the time we leave on August 15. We can scale back our tickets to 6 day base if we need to - much cheaper than 3 adult APs! And if push comes to shove I can try to downgrade our resort. I won't cancel the trip, but I am definitely looking at ways to drive the costs down in case I am looking at unemployment after the trip. I would rather have a back-up plan and not need it than need one and not have it!
coming your way!
I put in the ticker factory tickers..too big, I like the bar one but that site is not working.![]()
100 pounds! Wow! You are an inspiration to the rest of of us.
Thanks Deb for starting the weight loss thread last year and thanks to Kate for starting the update thread. I'm getting serious again about working on taking the pounds I added back off and continuing to lose more. I'm still down at least 15 pounds from where I started last year.
At least it is hard for me. I end up eating poorly, gaining a few pounds then back to full diet to lose those pounds. It really stinks. I still have more weight to lose, but I'm really struggling with just keeping off what I have already lost. That's good that you've been able to keep some of the weight off. I think that maintanence is much harder than losing. It is really hard to keep the mindset that you are going to have to watch everything you eat for the rest of your lifeAt least it is hard for me. I always told myself that I had changed my lifestyle and that I would never put it back on again. I also had a plan in place to go back to strict dieting if I put on more than 3-5 pounds. Somehow I let all that slip away. That's good that you've been able to keep some of the weight off. I think that maintanence is much harder than losing. Hi, all! I have been busy and haven't had time to keep up.
I just want to add to Deb's post. I am the true example of why you need to fight so hard to maintain all that you have done. I lost over 100 pounds a few years ago. I didn't know it at the time, but I was looking good! I could only focus on the fact that I couldn't seem to make my goal and how far I had to go and not on far I had come. Somehow, I managed to put almost all the weight back on. I'm looking at having to lose more than 100 pounds again.I always told myself that I had changed my lifestyle and that I would never put it back on again. I also had a plan in place to go back to strict dieting if I put on more than 3-5 pounds. Somehow I let all that slip away.
So, please, please, please, learn from me. Do everything you have to and maintain those losses.
CONGRATULATIONS to all of you!!!!
PS I wasn't going to tell anyone, but I've started again today to work on getting rid of this weight. I can't look at 100+ pounds right now, so my first goal is 25 pounds. I can do that!
Beth

I will try to get back on later but in the meantime...
and
to all.I just read an article about public weight losers and private weight losers. Some people need the encouragement of others to stick to their weight loss plans while others need to do it in private. If you are a public weight loser, then keep us updated on how you are doing & we'll give encouragement. If you prefer to do it in private, let us know when you reach your goal and we'll celebrate with you!
You can do it! You've done it before.![]()
) I have always been a very private person, but I was going to WW when I lost all that weight. I would rather not pay $12/week to be told what I already know, but maybe I do need some of that encouragement/feedback. I don't want to tell dh just yet, because although he means to be supportive, he just tends to tick me off.
