We booked this while on board the Alaska earlier this year, looking forward to it. I just pulled up the reservations online today and noticed that the Disney agent who booked for us on board somehow decided to make the second adult in the staterooms (both rooms) a child!? Think he was rushing through things as there was a long line on board waiting... Need to email our travel agent today to have this sorted out, but I guess as it wouldn't change the fare anyway, we should be ok.

So, we've got two rooms, 4 adults cruising, with 2 first-timer! How exciting!

annichan, I will certainly let you know. We are doing a B2B on the Dream in September, so it will be interesting to see if the NYC procedures are the same. Have you ever done a B2B before? We have, but not on Disney. It is lovely!

We have just switched our cruises around a little, so now we will be doing the same B2B as you guys - first the 8 days southward, then this one. I cannot wait for it to start!

I have been so busy I let the year mark pass without proper celebration! I am SOOOOOOOOO excited for this cruise!

Just back from 3 days at Cedar Point! Had a great time!!

Now all I have to do is get my trip to Disneyland out of the way then it's the cruise!!!!!

I hope everyone is doing well!! We made it through Irene here without too much damage. We missed our camping trip to NH because half of the campground was washed out!! Hopefully we can get up there soon before it gets too cold.

Has anyone brought up the possibility of a FE group? Just wondering!!

We're going in October for a few day Because of our SIL's work... it's not easy to have time off together. DL is a blast.

The DH and I and my cousin, who is a castmember in DW, just spent a week at Disneyland. It was AMAZING!!!!!! We did the whole tour de Disney. We visited the animation studios, got to shop at the imagineering offices, paid tribute at Walt's grave site, saw the premier of Beauty and the Beast 3d at El Capitan, saw Walt's Star on Hollywood Blvd., and stayed at all three Disneyland Resorts. It is amazing the access that a castmember can get you. We had the best time. Don't believe anyone when they say that you will be disappointed in Disneyland. It is different and smaller but full of history that you can't find anywhere else.

We can't wait to join you all and would love to do a FE.

I'm in for FE, too!!!

We just returned from a non-Disney Alaskan cruise. Alaska was gorgeous, but I'm NEVER sailing on a non-Disney cruise again. (We couldn't take Disney to Alaska because my husband's vacation schedule didn't line up with Disney's itinerary.) Ah well! Lesson learned!

We also just returned from a non-Disney cruise to Alaska. I liked our ship and will sail with the line again but we agreed that we like Disney better if there is a choice.

Has anybody else here been worried about these storms rolling up the east coast. I sure hope we don't have the same thing next year.... I know this is the season for storms but I sure hope we have clear sailing next Sept.

This weather is unusual so I'm not too concerned. Its been quite a few years since the mid-Atlantic and NE have experiences these kind of storms. Of course, no one can predict what a hurricane next year will or will not do.

When I was in the Navy I experienced a storm similar to that shown in "The Perfect Storm". We spent 3 days being tossed about (our ship was just under 300 feet long but had a flat keel, so very little stability even in calm seas) and there were times I wondered if we were going to stay upright or just keep turning over. That was certainly an adventure!

We were in a storm on the Magic in January. Had rough seas for about a night and day (it was cool to see waves splashing out of the pools). I enjoyed it (see previous experience above), but we did have quite a few people onboard who did not appreciate their adventure.
