Yes, he was happy the USA won their game in OT. Was kind of funny as his game was also 1-1 going into OT too

That OT was even up. After the first minute that game was controlled by Canada. If not for Helleybuck, that was a silver medal for the US. But that's what can happen in a one game final.

It’s likely that there were more overall viewers in the US than in Canada, although that’s from a much larger population. It’s a bit harder to figure out because of all the different live sources (over the air, cable, streaming via cable companies, network apps, Peacock) and the numbers from each source.

CBC made it available for free, but it was blocked outside of Canada because of rights management. I was a bit curious although I watched over an antenna.

The main CBC channel ran a 24/7 Olympic feed with two exceptions - hour-long news broadcasts a couple of times a day and the daily episodes of Coronation Street. They've learned in the past the Canadian Coronation Street fans will not be denied!
