Thanks for the packing tips, and the info that some folks do scrap non-Disney pages (not that I'm paranoid about "fitting in" but it is nice to know I likely won't be the only one working on something else).

I know that no one in my group is working on Disney- don't worry about it. I can't wait!

Southwest flights are out for our trip if anyone is interested. $72.00 from BWI to MCO!!! Of course the flight back is more- but we'll see if it goes down.

Just booked August 21st - 29th and the last 6 nights we will be at The Wilderness Lodge Villas so not too far from the Contemporary - will there be a store for non-convention people to shop at??

Yes, there will be tons of vendors there.

There isn't an issue if people come into visit. I can't imagine any objections to shopping either.

I don't remember. I think a lot of them were local places. And Creative Memories and Close to My Heart.

There will be no shortage of things to buy so make sure you leave room in your suitcase! LOL

Hi everyone, I am new to this crop and was wondering if anyone knows if you are able to add a couple days onto your room reservation for the same discounted price? I saw that they offered additional days last year, but didn't see it advertised for this year. Anyone know? I did email Nancy but I clearly have no patience! lol

I know you can add on Thursday night but I don't know about other than that.

You can add nights to your package. It usually is opened up closer to the time.

Send SDV a note with the dates you would like. Nancy was great and added three days to my reservation for the last three years. She won't be able to tell you for sure until a little closer, but if she has the dates she will let you know as soon as she is able to add that on (at a discounted rate). I am hoping to add on two days this year as well.

Correct me if I am wrong, but that seems to be an excellent price for the Contemporary but still a little out of my price range at this time.

we are mixed in. Last year some of us were in the towers as well as in the garden wing.

That is more than 40% off the regular rate- so yes it is a good rate.

Has anyone joined the "SDV Premiere Membership" -- does that seem worthwhile to do? ($39.00 one year; $65.00 for two). Does anyone go to more than one of their events a year? This will be my first, so maybe I'll get addicted (there is another one in easy traveling distance for me, but I thought going to the one at the Contemporary would be extra fun).

Okay you guys got me in trouble today Cause I knew when ya'll were coming and that cheesed off a member of my team who thought I had some insider info on all incoming groups and I kept insisting it was just the scrappers
