I feel you, we leave on the 14th. This sucks. Only thing we can hope for is a soft open. Anyone know how those usually work? Do they just kind of open the attraction and let people figure it out, or do they hand out passes or something like that?

They will open the attraction and let people figure it out. Word of mouth travels quickly around the parks though. Also, they might announce it on a twitter page or on Facebook.

Does anyone know if FEA will only be open after the normal 11:00 World Showcase opening? Or do we think they will begin operating before 11:00? I was secretly hoping this wouldn't be open for our end of June trip (blasphemy, I know) bc we only have one Epcot day and FP+ are already secured. Poop.

Soft Openings: they just open up the attraction, it can be for the whole day or just for a couple of hours. You never know.
No fp are offered during soft opening

Looking at my son's rehearsal schedule, he is in two shows this summer. We still won't be able to make it over to Epcot until July 10th.

it says on the post that the Norway pavilion will open at 9am

Gotta decide what to do with our Akershus ressie now. Had just booked a CRT last night for another day and two princess dinners seem redundant. I'd guess a lot of Akershus reservations booked before June 21st are going to suddenly become available.

We're likely going to miss Soarin' (unless they open it with the old movie) and Frozen now. Bummer. Makes Epcot a whole lot less appealing.

The Blog now seems to confirm in the comments that it will be a Tier 1 FP (which we always knew). Interestingly, they have not answered the questions about whether there will be a FP for A&E though.
