Ok, so is this the right place to answer the post?

If so, we are on the Disney Wonder for January 22, 2012. Our first Disney cruise even though we have cruised many times. It will be 8 of us (4 adults 4 kids) and we are so excited about doing this cruise. But don't know to much about it. Looks like great fun for kids though.

We'll be there! It's our 2nd Disney cruise. 2 adults, DD10 and DS7. I usually plan vacations WAY in advance, but when I saw Kids sail free I had to jump on it!

At last. I was begining to think there was nobody else on this cruise. Been looking on the cruise meet boards for nearly a year! Tried starting one myself but that didnt seem to work either

Anyway this will be my DH & I's 5th Disney cruise but our first one without the kids

79 days to go...I was having a problem finding ppl as well!!! Our 2nd cruise, looking forward to it. Just mydaughter (4) and myself!

I moved this thread from the main DCL boards to the meets boards so it is now the meets thread for you cruise. Since there wasn't a meets thread for your sailing and you posted this question when I moved it over it became the meets thread. Any time you don't see a meets thread for your sailing you can just start one and then post a link in the Find Your Meets Thread, anyone can start a meets thread.
I've also posted a link to this thread in the Find Your Meets thread for IrishCowboy to add the link to the first post.

Finally, I thought my DH and I were going to be the only ones on the ship.
Fourth Disney Cruise for me, second for him and no kids this trip. We are celebrating our 20th Anniversery. Went on this same cruise last year with girlfriends, had a great time.
Anyone thinking of a FE group?

We are almost booked. This is a sudden turn of events for us since it just came up and we are thinking of booking for January (Chinese New Year school holiday for my kids) Dh has even announced that he will be on vacation that week just to make sure there are no major meetings, etc that would conflict. (I am waiting the necessary one day for that feedback before booking... )

But, I am really nervous about the Mexico part. (anyone reading the boards recently will know that.) I'm not overly-freaked, but am not planning to do any excursions, etc. (I was victim of a theft AND a scam in separate incidences years ago in Mexico.)

How are you all feeling about it? Do you think the violence is really in other areas or are you planning to stay on the ship? I'm so excited. I've wanted to do another DCL for years but living so far away for 6 years, it has not worked out.

Has anyone researched what the weather should be like on this cruise in Jan?
Will it be warm enough to swim in the pools? Will we need lots of jackets, etc or will it be mostly shorts and T shirts?

We were on the same cruise last year (one week later) Monday (first sea day) people were in the pools but I used a sweater. Tues, was warmer. Wed., Thurs. Fri. in Mexico really nice 80's and wonderful. Sat. sea day the coldest of the week, windy, I don't think anyone went in the pools. Loved the cruise!

We will be there...my husband just announced to me he booked it today! It will be myself, my husband, my 11 year old DD(who is autistic which I am a bit worried about taking on a cruise) and my 9 year old DD.

We took DD16 who has autism on a 3 day cruise last Sept. and I understand your concerns. Each child is so different but our experience was great. She stayed with us and didn't go to the kids clubs. She had a little sea sickness the first night but she took the chewy pills well. She loved the shows, the movies, having desserts and that they refilled her Sprite often. They characters were so great with her.There were times the noise was too much for her so we just went back to the room. We will take her on future cruises, this one is without kids

Yea! we are officially booked too! I can't believe it. The whole thing has been totally last minute. And flying in from China for a week cruise seems a little crazy, but it is all part of my new Carpe Diem attitude.

We should be on this cruise! I just have to get approved for the time off and I should know tomorrow! We have changed our dates so much that finally we were able to get the KSF deal and it cut our cost in half!! We are super, duper excited so I hope everything goes through!!

We also have a son with autism, he is 6. Not severe, but can be challenging!

Ok, time off and approved! Heard back from TA, she has oficially moved us!

We are in a 9A Guarantee & the rest of our party in a 6A Guarantee! Hoping for an upgrade

in our room:
