All you Nip/Tuck people , it is the first time on here....all I can say is oh my!

It started out really weird with Sean being attacked by a crazy woman( Colleen) then he is in a wheel chair. Is this the same season you guys have been watching?

Marita -- Love that you left work early and no one noticed.

Mony-- How was your birthday?

Happy Birthday, Mony!

Here's a little Michigan getaway for you for when it warms up!

Nab, I didnt say no one noticed, I just said that boss was nowhere to be found at the time to ask permission. So I left without permission. He might have come back 5 minutes later to find me missing, and I'll be in big trouble tomorrow.

Well lets hope he didn't came back then....

Moo-- What beautiful pictures. I want warm weather now!

Those are some lovely pics, Moo!

I just had two little Butterfinger bars and a Lindt truffle (white chocolate, not my fav, but all I have left)

Fudge sounds so yummy, When I went to school in Germany, they had one certain bakery that had THE most delicious fudge. Freshly made, sliced from a slab, packed in wax paper. It was HEAVEN! Never found anything like it.

Or the fresh pretzels next to my aunts house in Bavaria, for that matter.

SOOOOBBBB!

Hi, thanks for the birthday wishes.

I did have a nice day.

DH said sleep in, so I did.

I came down to coffee being already made, and the day care kids already fed.

DS1, forgot his lunch, again, so on my way to class I dropped it off to notice the markee flashing parent teacher conferences tonight!

He never tells me anything, or bring anything home for me. Darn ADD!

So, I went to those and stood in lines for 2 hours. (Can't wait for next year when I have two kids in Middle school) and the family waited for me to return so we could go out to dinner.

That was nice too.

Then I got some some items to help me along with my portfolio. Each term I've gotten a letter from the Dean, and last term a professor sent me a letter saying that I was working real hard and I understand these things look nice in a portfolio. I think I have to take a class at WSU before I can graduate about creating a portfolio.

Plus the new John Grisham book! He's one of my favorite authors and I've read all of his books.

And thanks for making my day extra special. You all ROCK!

Happy you had a good day, Mony!

I just got an email from work. My learning plan now requires me to take an heat index awareness class. WTH? I work in an A/C office all day and have no contact with guests in heat.

Bureaucracy at its best!

Oh Moo, that is mine and DH's favorite movie!!! I had my bridesmaids walk down the aisle to the music from Somewhere in Time! :goodvibes We wanted to go there for our honeymoon, but it was too expensive for us back them. Someday.......:rolleyes1

I am reading it too :cheer2: I have never missed a Grisham book either! Glad you had a great day.

Mony - Sounds like you've had a pretty nice birthday! :dance3:

Allie - I love Somewhere in Time too! One of my favorite movies.

I have yet to stay at the Grand Hotel, but it's on my life list of things to do. Maybe for our 35th anniversary, the rate we're going  We have stayed on the island at Mission Point Resort, which was very nice though.

Marita - Mackinac Island fudge is SO good!!!

Nabbie - I really want some warm weather too. At least it got above freezing again today.

Moo - Back when I was working full time (16 years ago ;) ), I worked for a commercial property underwriter, and we wrote the insurance for Mission Point Resort. I remember looking at it online, and thinking it was pretty too. It was also quite a bit cheaper than the Grand. I've heard the rooms at the Grand are not all that "Grand", but the nostalgia factor is what I want. :goodvibes

Nab - Sean got attacked at the end of last season. He was still in the wheelchair at the beginning of this season.

I forgot about the finale, but Ben DVRd it so I'm going to his house this weekend to watch it!
:cool1:

So we are getting the beginning of the season you people just finished then. I thought maybe they would send us back a bit to get some back story.

How was your date? Your mom mentioned you were on one.

Happy belated birthdays to Luther and Monica!

Yesterday morning I painted a dresser outside in the sun. So by the afternoon I was beat. Super tired. And my arms hurt from painting. lol. It was bright orange, I put 2 coats of white on it and then 2 coats of the green that is my bedroom walls. I'm going with a whole new theme for the babies room this time. Why not? If by some freak of nature it's a girl I already have something picked out. http://www.overstock.com/Baby/Lizzie-4-piece-Crib-Bedding-Set/3816668/product.html I wasn't looking for girl things, I honestly do not expect a girl or have even 1% of hope that it is a girl. I'm fine with another boy...I just don't know yet what I want to do his room. I might just look for a brown bumper and make a blanket to bring the green of the dresser into it. I don't like animal or people themed crib bedding, or I just never see anything worth paying for.

So anyway, Lost is getting extremely strange. I hope they don't get kicked this season. I'm just not seeing where they can take the show anymore. :confused3

My sister had her u/s and she's having a girl. So I'm pretty pissed about that, wrong so, but whatever. I told Chad not to even talk to me about it. I am just not dealing with it well. Mostly because I can already hear everyone's stupid insensitive comments from now until my baby comes. I might just go into hiding until then. :guilty:

So I was checking up on babycenter.com and here is what is says about 16 weeks...
How your life's changing:
The top of your uterus is about halfway between your pubic bone and your navel,

Mine's a good 2 inches above my belly button. No wonder I'm showing so much all the sudden. My uterus didn't get the memo that it should still be down in hiding. My family thinks there is more than one baby in there. But I still haven't gained ANY weight, so I'm pretty positive it can't be twins. This would be a bad time for twins, I REALLY want to go to the birth center, not have a c-section. Ugh.

Hi, thanks for the birthday wishes.

I did have a nice day.

I'm glad you had a nice bday.

My learning plan now requires me to take an heat index awareness class.

What in the walt disney world is a heat index awareness class? I mean I know what the heat index is, but why do you need to take a class on such matters?

I had my bridesmaids walk down the aisle to the music from Somewhere in Time!

I had this music in my wedding too. Although my bridesmaids walked down the aisle to Tara's Theme from "Gone With The Wind". wwrbd?:confused3

I am reading it too :cheer2: I have never missed a Grisham book either! Glad you had a great day.

I have never actually read a Grisham book, and I LOVE to read. I was thinking about checking out his new one though. I am currently reading Next by Michael Crichton. The only other thing I have read of his is Jurassic Park.

Allie - I love Somewhere in Time too! One of my favorite movies.

Mine too. I would LOVE to visit the hotel.

I forgot about the finale, but Ben DVRd it so I'm going to his house this weekend to watch it!
:cool1:

I still haven't seen the finale!!! so SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH to Lynt who has.

Yesterday morning I painted a dresser outside in the sun. So by the afternoon I was beat. Super tired.

You certainly have been a busy little beaver lately. How do you accomplish it all?

okey dokey I quoted more, but I don't think it worked, b/c my dial up was trying to load birthday pics and I think I missed people, so HI everybody.

The only news to report around these parts it that my 18 yo cousin joined the army. I am very proud of his decision to defend and protect our country, but I am nervous for him as well. Wish him luck y'all.

Have you seen any of the Grisham movies adapted from books?

I have read a few of Michael Crichton, he defiantly has his own style. Have you tried Dan Brown? Angels and Demons is my favorite by him.

Morning Morning Morning.

MommyP: Talk about a spurt of energy. Please take it easy though. You will worry me being pregnant, painting, in the heat.

No wonder Marita has to take a heat index awarness class!

BBN: My nephew just joined the Marines. He goes for training in April. His parents said they never seen him more proud than at the swearing in ceremony. Of course I can include him in my prayers. :thumbsup2 Them great people.

I'm officially old and two years away from my nervous breakdown. Can't wait!

Have a super-d-duper Thursday!

I have an awesome video to post later. Mal is a rockstar!

Well- it could be the whole #6 baby thing. Or the fact that you haven't gained weight so the uterus is out there. Or- and this is my favorite- that you are really 17, 18 or even 19 weeks.

As for twins- have them check reallly well at the u/s. However every twin mama, I have spoken to said that there was lots of early morning sickness. (Or it was their first pregnancy so they just thought everyone was that sick). By 16 weeks with my twins I had gained at least 14 lbs. I stayed at that weight a long time (they were even getting worried) and then I started packing on the weight at the end (like 5 lbs a week)

Also, I did NOT have a c-section and I don't see why you (MommyP, not the general you) would need one with twins unless there was some sort of complication. However my midwife did fire me when she saw twins. She doesn't do multiples ever and I don't know of a midwife that does so that would mean an OB/hospital birth most likely.

Michael Critchon is my other favorite author and I didn't know he had another book out.

I was very sad hearing about his death.

I'll have to check that out! I did get some birthday money.
