Thanks, Moo  I am not very hopeful at the moment. But I did NO work from home today, take that, boss!

That guy on the Batchelor is a piece of work. I think this whole franchise has run it's course. there has onely been ONE real match in all these years.

BBN has been MIA too. :rolleyes1

and I'm sure Trista and Ryan are tired of being trotted out at each and every show -

this was a set up - the producers scripted a "Sleepless In Seattle" type show for ratings - and they sure got them...

Mellissa supposedly went back to an old boyfriend - Jillian is supposed to be the new bachelorette -

I never follow the show till near the end. Too many people for me early on.
I do the same with AI, I watch the auditions, and then not much till near the end.

Sandy, that whole show seems so fake to me anyway, with the guys kissing and making out with different people right till the end. If you want to marry someone, you know. The rest is just acting.

ITA. Why would those woman(who are all good looking enough to get their own man) want to be with a man who has been with every other person around? That's nasty. He kisses one and then a few minutes later he's got his tongue in someone elses mouth. :scared:

Happy Birthday Melinda!! We miss you!

I have been cleaning all day since Mommy P put us all do shame yesterday.

Still cold here but they say we might hit above 0 by Thursday.:cheer2:

PJ. Present. Tried to lose me, didya??? Well, it's not gonna be that easy! Things have been crazy busy, but I am here.

Cincinnati was very nice last weekend. We went snow tubing on Friday and then had the tea party on Saturday as planned. Then Hollywood had to (as usual) create a drama by being sick off her astarstar. She had the flu. That was a bummer because then my bff Eren got sick and it was a big mess. HOWEVER.....

I WORE A SNUGGIE!!!!!!!!!!

It was my grandpa's. Lemme just say snuggies might be one size fits all if you're like the size of Shrek. And don't try walking up the stairs in one. Trust me, you'll fall. :rolleyes1 There's snuggie pictures out there. Just sayin. Cel, if you're still feeling down in the dumps, I might just post one for you. Because I'm that nice.

Welcome back PeeJ! Bring on the Snuggie pics!

Wow, another quiet day here.

Nothing much to report here. I made it to work todday at 9am! I dont mind that so much, as long as I wake up. What I dread is having to sit in the office an extra 2 hours when I could be working with my feet up. It drives me nuts! Luckily today there was a meeting from 3:30-4:30, and it ran over till 5, so that kept me sane today.

DS passed his course in Alabama and is heading back to Texas on Friday, right after graduation. There he will be on casual duty (meaning he basically doesn't do much of anything) until classes start up in California. Then he has to go for more training there (dont know when or how long), before he finally starts doing something productive.

Stopping in to wish Melinda a Happy Birthday. Hope she finds the new place.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELINDA!!!!
I wished it on FB, and forgot about here. :headache:

soooooo..

got some of my blood test results back and some were good and some werent...I had an elevated a1c which is a test to see where your blood sugars have been the last three months....so I averaged out at 6.2...not really bad but my doctor wants it under six......oh well he cant have everything.
Then I flunked vitamin D test......so now have to take vitamin d-3 2000 units for a month and then one thousand units daily for a few months and see what happens......in the paperwork .....it is from the sun (go figure) and from liver and oily fish and dairy products....HELLOOOOOOOOO arent these the things we are not supposed to have because of our cholesterol and junk.......geesh...

got ready for bed and hubby was in bed and now the city is going to remove the five foot snowbanks on the sides of our sidewalks......geesh....another sleepless night in Maine.....

Hope you are all happy, healthy and anxious for spring.......cause WE SURE ARE........ :grouphug:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MELINDA!!!

It is also Mr. Moo's birthday today, so that's why I was scarce this evening. we went out to dinner to celebrate and had some yummy Chicago-style pizza.

Peej - Sounds like a FUN weekend! Good thing you didn't get sick. I also sauy BRING ON THE SNUGGIE PICS! Guess I'd better go check elsewhere too.

Pumba - I have also been on the Vitamin D supplements. Daily with calcium plus 50,000 IUs one day a week. I think all the medical staff are checking levels because they changed the guidelines recently.

Marita - Glad you made it through another work day :)

Howdy to everybody else :wave2:

Happy Birthday to Mr. Moo!

Are you working from home tomorrow Moo?

Marita-- Glad you are making it to work on time. Good news on your son.

P.J.-- hope you don't get sick now. I want to see the snugglie pics too.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MELINDA AND MR. MOO!

I swear, I am going to make dog stew yet!

The dog has been pacing all night long! Pace, pace, pace. Tries to look out the window, crawling on the fireplace, knocked over a vase, stepped in a laundry basket trying to get off, locked himself in the bedroom and later in the bathroom (waking up DH at 10 pm). Pace, pace, pace again, he's not stopping...... Normally he just lays down and sleeps.... GRRRRRR!

DH had to turn off the fridge today. There was a thick layer of ice up the icemaker section. So he waited for me till I got home at 6 to give me instructions on what to do. Basically, the freezer door was open to aid defrosting of the layer of ice, the bin was in the sink. Then I had to wait for the ice to defrost, empty the bin, dry everything off, put the bin back, and turn the fridge back on. In the process, I killed the lighting in the upper portion of the freezer, and some red light is flashing. Oh well, will have to wait till DH gets back tomorrow, I cant wake him up at 8pm when he has to get up at 2pm.

Marita shouldn't you be in bed!!!

Moo hoo on 8300 post Marita!!

Moo hoo on 8300 post Marita!!

Thank you, Nab! Actually, a sad commentary on my life, LOL.

I can't sleep yet, it's too early for me.

ETA: I just had to walk in the back yard with a flashlight to DRAG my 80 or so lb dog inside, the refused to come in! GRRRR!

Nabbie - YES! Tomorrow is my work at home day :cool1:

Marita - I forgot to say congrats in my previous post regarding your son moving on to the next step! :thumbsup2

Pumba My Vit D was also low I am taking 50,000unit once a week. My Dr. says it is recommend by other Dr. But she said mine may be low because I dondon't get enough sun. The lab charged $190.00 for it.

I messed it all up. My Doctor also said hers is proably low. Like Moo said they changed the guide lines

Celery had another date to night. I kept Reily. He is a good dog. But I still would like grandchildren.

Happy Birthday Melinda[/B[/B

Happy Birthday to Mooo's better half.]]
